Probably not considering he is a bats character. If he had actually won the DLC poll maybe, but Zatanna did and now we have her.

I can only hope we get Swamp Thing or even better some completely obscure character that no one has ever heard of. For once I would like to be surprised by the DLC.

I assumed it would be closer than that, but Swamp Thing is winning pretty handily in the poll.

I dunno, I'd be fine with either, but I'd prefer swamp thing even though Ivy was one of my old favorites due to the over kill of Batman characters already and he's well liked/requested heavily and would surely sell well too.

personal taste: swamp thing, even though i think ivy is a more interesting character and a shame shes not in the game.

Swamp thing because I think he's just a cooler character and they can do more with him. (I just finished Rotworld so I'm a little biased lol)

Poison Ivy would be great and all. She'd have some interesting moves with her poison spores, mutant plants, etc.

But I voted Swamp Thing for two reasons.

1. His design could be VERY interesting, but only if he's like, dripping water and has long hanging moss or something. An actual SWAMP THING.

2. So people can finally shut the hell up about series representation.

Anyone who reads comics knows how good Alan Moore's Swamp Thing is and how cool the character's abilities are. Folks who don't know shit about comics and just want to play as girls in a fighting game like weirdos are asking for Poison Ivy.

It's that easy. Seriously. How can anyone prefer Poison Ivy over the Earth's hulking embodiment of plant consciousness? This vote should be 100 - 0 in favor of Swump Thang.

Swamp Thing uses nature if I recall. That provides for a LOT of things. MANY MANY things. They could give him traps with puddles that launch swamp logs, he could teleport into another body.

I've made many movesets for him with all different powers.

Poison Ivy also uses nature. She ALSO uses mutated plants of her own with mouths, acid, spores, all kinds of things. Enormous mutant plants, not just regular plants. She also produces her own toxins which could be used in battle, as well as spores that can kill you just by being near you. Ivy is also seductive in a way, which would influence her moves by using beauty in them (Roses that are actually monsters, thorns, etc.)

WTF? You've obviously never read a Swamp Thing comic. He can form himself of any combination of flora ANYWHERE. He can control all plants, teleport anywhere plants are, grow whatever he wants, become whatever plant he wants, grow to whatever size, grow wings, weapons, whatever he wants. Swamp Thing IS basically a mutant plant. He is a spore and poison if he wants to be. Poison Ivy got that flirting goin on though... that's about it.

And anyway that wasn't my original point. Most people only want poison ivy because they want another barely clothed female character, not because there aren't any plant characters in the game. Of course there are some people that want her because they like her or want a plant character in the game. I'm not debating that. But Poison ivy, much like power girl is mostly liked by 15 year old boys who only want more tits in the game. Btw, if I had it my way ALL the major DC characters would be in the game. Injustice's roster would be the size of MVC2.

Trust me, I know what I'm doing...
Swamp Thing is both a more interesting and unique character, and also one that rarely gets any multimedia love shown to it, so I'd go with swampy.

Maybe Swamp Thing's trait could be two different body forms with different specials? Maybe this time it would be like NW's and WW's.
