The first ever Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Kast took place today, and boy did it have some goodies for us. Tyler Lansdown was joined by Ed Boon, Derek Kirtzic, and Steve Brownback on the couch for a new look for the Kombat Kast room.

Don't be afraid of change!

Ed takes the opportunity to tell everyone that not everything is final, and that everything is set to change if they wish. He mentions that people must chill out, essential, and that they are listening to what they are saying. Steve also says that the threads on frame data are unnecessary, as they are simply not indicative of what the frame data will be like when the game launches. continue....

MK11 Content Creation & Event plans: RHS will return 4/28 officially, plan is to find a representative for each character to showcase on RHS, I’ll take signups in March. The other thing I’m going to bring back that’ll be even better than before is The Armory and will contain "Weather map” like production of tournament and high quality matches. I look to explain the intricacies of what’s occurring, what their options were, and examine patterns of players. These will be pre recorded but I’m open to doing one of these live. If you have any other ideas shoot em my way. One thing I would like to do is get with other great content and event creators like @DestroyerFGC and lay out a weekly schedule events calendar so people... Keep reading, y'all......

The MK Day Official Livestream has ended. Here is a brief recap of everything that happened!

At the very beginning of the stream, we were treated to a trailer of the gameplay for MK1, revealing Skarlet, Sub-Zero, Baraka, Sonya Blade, as well as showing off Liu Kang in a cameo.

Ed Boon took the stage to explain the gameplay for Mortal Kombat 11 as Joshua Gray leaves. He then explains that there are seven characters: Scorpion, Baraka, Geras, Sonya Blade, Raiden, Skarlet, and, obviously, Sub-Zero.

Ed Boon then goes on to explain that each character will have 3 pieces of gear that are moddable and have different appearances on them. The AI compatibility returns, and it is revealed that characters will also have customizable Variations, which will be a mix of Injustice 2 moves and Mortal Kombat X Variations.
