Winter Brawl Injustice Top 8 Sunday at 4 PM EST on TeamSp00ky

In what was a whirlwind day with a myriad of upsets, blow ups, close calls and unexpected appearances, the first day of tournament action at Winter Brawl 8 defied even some of the most daring predictions. Although there were reports of dark horses and rising threats before this weekend, today's string of wins and losses was so unpredictable that players and viewers alike were constantly screaming in disbelief throughout the entire evening.

Although there are almost too many marquee matches to list, here's a small survery of the damage:
  • Sonic Fox sent SaltFace to losers
  • Zyphox deafeated Forever King, sending him to losers
  • Frantastic eliminated Forever King
  • New Lobo main Oxygen put Rev0lver into losers and fought his way to Top 16
  • Emperor Outworld eliminated Blackula
  • Viking305 sent Orochi to losers
  • Glass Sword sent Khaotik to losers
  • DragonGod sent Sid the Haze to losers
  • Insaynne eliminated Khaotik
  • Dragongod eliminated Orochi
  • Viking305 eliminated Dragongod
When the dust finally settled for Top 16, the surprises weren't over. The road to Top 8 sorted out as follows:

OUTLOOK

With the way things played out today, it's anyone's guess as to what will happen on Finals Day. The Winter Brawl pools reinforced that fact that anything can happen on any given day in the postpatch version of the game -- and there are absolutely no guarantees for tomorrow's Top 8.

Will Zyphox have his emergence and solidify The Flash as the Top 5 character he proclaimed him to be? Will Glass Sword shock the world and blaze a trail through Top 8? Will Tom Brady recapture his early success and notch a commanding win? Or is DarthArma poised to battle through the maze and take his first major?

Right now viking tied with pig with highest placing zod at a major. Id say "best", isnt so far fetched. I may be wrong, but isnt this the first time a flash has made top 8 at a major? An official major.

Ps. We all know muffin is best flash anyways :)

I hope they fix connection. Stream freeze, lagged and so on all the time. :(

On the other note - hype Top 16 and Top 8. :)

first day was very bad, random people like ronald rogan jumping on the mic killing the hype, connection problems (dropping frames, constant restarts, spoilers in chat from KN when stream is still online DAFUQ), very weak pop offs, 2/3 matches.

I hope day 2 is better
