    Is it known that after a close sweep Mileena can dash over the opponent to the other side?

    not to come off all "ive been done this for ages" but i did know about this, if the opp tech rolls your dash puts them right in there face,
    you can also do it after B3,4 if you knock them down on there front rather than on there back,
    no free rolling away from pressure if with the dash if they techroll that either :D

    Haha, don't hate; it's not the cornerstone of an offense but there's definitely a place for it. I just b+3, b+4'd AC1984 like 4 times in a row the other day. It's one of those moves where people always say "whatever, I'll just eat the lows" and I'm willing to push them to the limit on that. You not only get a lot of free damage, but it sets up for b+3, EXRoll.

    It's especially nice if your opponent doesn't have a particularly threatening wake-up option. Also, the more times you utilize these mixups, the more you can get away with U+4 or even the coveted U+4, U+4. I know some players who absolutely hate that string because of how it makes them reconsider blocking.

    Yeah B+3 B+4 is very good and is very safe compared to B+3~ex roll. Its really handy when fighting someone who knows how to fight Mileena. Mileenans B+3~ex roll is the most overrated combo starter in the game. Its so easy to fuzzy guard that string and you lose 1 bar of meter. Its very risky. B3B4 is good and ensures 7% most of the time. But its still disadv on block. Mileena upclose game really lacks in my opinion. 234 ground sai is really good however but it ends pressure and if the opponent ducks the ground sai they can dash in and get block strings going for free....ughhh

    Yeah, you're right. You have to be in an open stance for the opponent to fall on his front, just then you can dash above him. Thanks man.

    Why are Mileena players doing U4 when they knock down the opponent? Isn't it unsafe?

    Not always. If Mileena crosses you up and attempts to attack, most people would assume she'd be going low for the OTG. This instinct is what makes people block low on wake-up and get hit by her overhead. It also stuffs certain moves on wakeup.

    You don't want to do it next to someone's body every single time you knock them down; however, it can occasionally catch people off guard, especially if you've been picking them up off the ground with B+3's or something. She also has some other nasty tricks that revolve around her U+4 in unique situations, so it's not something to write off.

    Also, U+4 is +9 on block, so if they happen to block it you get free pressure all over again.

  11. Too be honest, Mileena is playable but she isn't nearly as great as people made her out to be.
    I was happy when Reo got her to 2nd place at EVO. However, I was upset that people though D+4 was enough to make her Top 10 let alone Top 5.

    For her to be really good she would have:
    -Advantage on Neckbite
    -Safe Enhanced Neckbite with Armor (0 on Block)
    -2nd Hit of Enhanced Telekick being Ovehead
    -Less Scaling on her X-Ray and the last Hit (the knee) being a small Launcher

    It's not happening which is why I'm listing these things. Either way she still can compete at tournament level, but I would go as far to say that against Sonya and Cage it's a write off.
  12. after i jump kick then teleport i don't get the link... it just whiff's past her .. i want to be able to link my tele kick off of jump kick like everyone else .. i see ppl using short cuts but it's still difficult for me .. i want this short cut in detailed plz ..some one show me

    I found something interesting today with Mileena. I'm not sure if its old or what but I didnt know about it. Its a combo breaker and the only way out of it is if the opponent wake up attacks. I broke a combo earlier and did roll immediately and it hits them even if their holding block laying down and its only escapable if the opponent does a wake up.

    Also other important strats I do with mileena that I have to credit Mr Mileena for cuz I saw him doing it to me along time ago and incorporated it into my play style.

    For mid-screen combo enders in 112~neckbite I usually just do 11 and drop the 2~neckbite on purpose and go right for U+4. It works if they lay grounded but wake up beats this strat. Its just an option. You can also do this off the combos ending in B+14~neckbite. You just do B+1 and drop the 4~neck bite on purpose and do U+4

    Corner shit I do is when you end combos with 4~neckbite. I usually end it with 4~ground sai and go for U4 or B3~roll or B+3 ex roll. Only wake ups can get out of this so you can bait the wake up and punish.

    i did this by mistake a few times,some times the roll got blocked though,
    i cant remember was it from a ground breaker or a air breaker? what was it when it happened to you?

    It was a ground breaker when I did it and it cant be blocked. I think it can be blocked if you delay the roll but if you do it immediately it works.

  18. I've done this a few times on accident, never really thought much about it. Thought my opponent just fucked up and somehow it hit them. Didn't realize it worked like that. :eek:

    just to make sure mean the same thing,so thats both chars with there feet grounded and not just mileena yes?
    would catch alot of people off guard im sure

    As most of the Mileena players out there know I officially dropped Mileena. I've been maining Sonya for a few monthes now and will stick with her and I always had a pocket KL and will be leveling up my KL for the Kenshi/Freddy/Kabal MUs. I probably played every MU out there and very knowledgable with Mileena. This is my most updated Mileena MU chart and I cant really see it changing much. As the game evolves people are knowing how to fight Mileena and its very tough fighting people who know the MU since everything Mileena does is risk. But here is my most updated MU chart.

    Damn..u weren't joking when you told me that u were gonna drop her. But KL does seem like the perfect choice..and I already told you that I can see u being a great KL player..just gotta get out of the old habits lol. And nice MU chart..seems pretty accurate. I do feel iffy about mil v sub tho, thoughts?

    I always had a hard time with sub as Mileena. Even when I use sub vs Mileena I feel like I have an adv. Its tough for Mileena when shes cornered. She cant do anything. The old strats id do to get out is ex tele and sub couldnt punish it but now subs are punishing it consistently with D+4~ex ground freeze for 27%. He can slide under IAS on reaction. Sub can OS clone my AA as well. I never really liked the MU especially when Sub is patient and corners you and punishes you for a lot. I really hated this MU when I was running games with Tom.

    The only MU i can see changing is Freddy/Mileena. That MU could be closer to even eventually. M2Dave seems to be learning the MU and it felt pretty tough. Freddy can blow up Mileena pretty bad too. Its tough in todays game with Mileena cuz her rushdown sucks and so risky. One mistake and I lose 40% of my life. Even more vs some characters.

    First Mileena player I see get the Sub matchup right.

    He disables d4's and rolls, her zoning isn't really good vs him, kitana's are way better, Mileena usually gets caught by ice balls, especially ex. So if he has the lead, her only way of getting in are unsafe, especially because of his clone, Blocked telekick ex or nt= punish, zoning can be ducked, rolls can be blocked or frozen by clone, d+4's will end up freezing her, jumping over clones = Anti air, mileena is fucked in this MU imo
