Tremor Petition Numbers Catch the Eye of Creative Director

A fan-created petition for the brown-garbed ninja, Tremor is no joke. Fans have been making their voices known throughout the internet through a poll that has surpassed over 4,000 votes nearing its goal of 5,000 votes. NetherRealm Studios Creative Director, Ed Boon has indeed seen the impressive numbers and even advertised it on his twitter page with the remarks, "Damn! You guys REALLY want Tremor! :0".

Myself of all people also really wants Tremor to become a playable character for Mortal Kombat X. Perhaps the reasoning being that he's never officially been a playable character, other than briefly through the Playstation Vita version of Mortal Kombat 9 where he used recycled moves from other characters like Jax's Ground Pound call "Earth Pound". (see below)

Tremor is a brown garbed ninja and a member of the Black Dragon clan who first appeared in Mortal Kombat: Special Forces. He escaped from Special Forces custody during a prison break orchestrated by Kano, to whom he was blindly loyal. Kano assigned him to guard the portal to Outworld and kill any Special Forces agents that may have discovered his whereabouts. Tremor was defeated and killed by Major Jackson Briggs in their encounter . Tremor was added as a playable character during the Bonus Challenge Tower in the Playstation Vita version of Mortal Kombat (2011). His "backstory" in said game states Tremor was apprehended by the Special Forces and imprisoned after being betrayed by Kano, acting under the facade of a confidential informant for the Special Forces, who were searching for the Black Dragon, but Tremor escaped. He then targeted both Kano and Jax for revenge. Tremor would make a good addition to Mortal Kombat X's roster due to the fact he has a unique relationship with the Black Dragon and the Lin Kuei, the latter of which he was rumored to abandon, the first Lin Kuei ninja to do so and live . Tremor would also be the series first character who can control the Earths crust which includes rocks/boulders making for many unique moves . We've acknowledged that Tremor cannot make the games base roster so we propose he should be DLC and DLC only ! By signing this petition you aren't just doing me a service, you're doing Mortal Kombat fans a service !

My reasons for wanting Tremor.

• Earthbenders are rad
• Kano needs more Black Dragon homies that aren't rip offs of himself.
• He's got that ninja factor that most people love. (I personally don't care if he's ninja or not)
• If they can make a joke character like Rain awesome, I have faith they can bring back anyone and make them cool.

That's not very laid back of you. They are obscure characters that people want to get a chance at playing. Hornbuckle is probably the big bad.

Also, we've never had a rock/earth based fighter in MK.

Yeah I think so. I've personally never played a game with him but i'd be all for it. the days of pallett swap ninja's are over so I think they could do a cool rendition of him, and more importantly, earth powers are something they haven't done, and grappler is something they rarely do well and could use more of. I'd be fine if they made someone else who fit those roles, but seems like needless work when they've already got someone.

Dont get me wrong, I support him being in the game. I just didnt understand why he is so popular when he didnt get any attention from the developers. Better him than another family member
