why on earth would u do that? arent u supposed to crouch block johnny's pressure?
Indeed you are.
Stand blocking Cage means he gets free F33xxEx Force Balls all day.
lol so true
f3 gives random adv on crouch block
so, it gives random advantage on standing block too, and he'll just give u the frame trap if u stand block that string....so no i don't see how thats a good idea.
You have no reason to block standing.
You can see the overheads coming so you can stand block them on reaction.
No, there's no random advantage on stand block, and the random advantage only effects you if you try to jump afterwards, so you just poke/armor out like normal.
You should crouch block f333 and stand block the b3 to escape the pressure
The crouch block is to avoid and punish en force ball or bait the b3
Not only that, it limits the strings he can use so it makes it predictable.
You should totally stay standing fighting me, I appreciate it.
Maybe he plays ermac
You want to crouch block because most cages love to d3 in pressure, and online it's like +10
but offline he is at -7 after a blocked poke so you can poke back or get out.
whats so bad about b3 on crouch block?
haha, yes you should definitely stand block my Cage so I can get to the next match faster
its an overhead in f33b3
oh...i thought u meant naked b3 lol, as in JC's popup
b3 is -15
ur talking about the popup right? and are talking about on crouch or standing block?
I'm talking about the launcher and according to Somberness it's just -15 all around.
srry for the double post, but BillStickers said that f3 has a glitch where it gives cage +9 on crouch block...but i still don't see why that means u should standing block it, cause ur gonna get frame trapped, isn't that worse?
The random advantage bug only affects jumping. Since jumping is somewhat of an option vs Cage pressure (landing f33 on an airborne opponent does not lead to nutpunch, so you can get some room). It's a dangerous read that can pay off if you read right. It also gets the Cage aware of this, so he'll be either using 1 more or b3 more.
so how should i play against cage then?? duck or stand? lol
Duck, mostly. Above strat is only good occasionally.
