-B13, B3, Ji3, B12-Shackles, Ji2, F2D13 = 33%. can end with B213 for 1% more but the B2 will wiff in some scenarios
-B13, b3, Ji3, B213 =31%. this is the BnB to use when fighting Aquaman since his trait stops shackles
-Corner. B13, Ji3-Air Axe, D1, 112-Shackles, Nj2 (end here for vortex) F2D13, D1-Arachnid = 35%

B12:
-B12-Shackles, Ji2, B213 = 22%
-B12-Shackles, Ji2 (for vortex)

Good stuff. I think you should also add environment combos. I usually use B1 into interactable button into B3 and so on. It actually makes a big difference in damage against someone like Aquaman because he can't trait it. It also gives him about 40% off of an air to air combo.

I hate that B213 whiffs sometimes and if the person is aware the 13 of that string gets blocks and I get blown up after so I stopped using that to end combos because if its bullshitness.

The problem I have with interactable Sinestro combos is that most of his normals are too stubby in some situations. B1 into the background button is good because it advances him forward and provides enough advantage for the background bounce to connect. I use it off of air to air conversions and close uppercuts.

also, the interactible bounce on block is what? -4 or something? i will have to look at this more when i get home... is this our safe footsies tool? does it hit mid? worth looking into...

If all you're looking for is to get them into the vortex, then:

Regular:
B13, B13, Shackles, J2 (17%)
B13, J2, D1, Shackles, J2 (18%)
B13, J2, B12, Shackles, J2 (22%)
B13, J2, D2, B12, Shackles, J2 (23%)

Overhead:
B2, D1, Shackles, J2 (10%)

Anti-air:
D2, B12, Shackles, J2 (14%)

These should be a lot easier to pull off online if you're struggling with B13, B3. Hopefully some of the pros have other options for you too.

yeah I have the same problem depending on connection,I sometimes use b13 jump in 2 b12 shackles instead.its about 8% less damage which is pretty
Bad but at least you can hit it with ease everytime online.

How do you continue the vortex against smaller characters? When I attempt to follow up a jump in 2 with j1 it whiffs... I've been going with j3 but I'm not sure what to do after j3. Air axe is inconsistent for me (hard to get it to come out after j3 in this situation), so I've been going with d1 -> shackles. However, that doesn't position the opponent well for continued vortex (I'm too close)... would appreciate anyone's thoughts on that

on a cross up Ji3 you can go with D2, B12-shackles to continue the vortex. 22-shackles, B3 into whatever ender for damage or you can do a bounce cancel to get both the damage and vortex (iirc the inputs are ji3, B2-bounce cancel,Ji2, B12-shackles, ji2 ) but i don't typically use this option

idk what to tell you about the Ji1. Ever since the B12 buff i've been having occasional issues with the vortex as well. Probably just have to adjust the timing a bit

you probably aren't timing the b12 into shackles late enough if the j1 is whiffing. with the j3 into air axe problem i was having this when i first picked up sinestro, just wait a second before you input the air axe. once you get used to the timing its super easy

Thanks guys. Doing j3 into d2 as an alternative to using j1 to continue the vortex works well.

Delaying the axe a bit in the j3 -> axe helps too.

Idk about you guys but I'm having trouble getting a high success rate on the b23 trait combos (b23,112,traitcharge,d1,112..) So I searched for an alternative and now I prefer to do
(b23,112,nj1,airaxe,112,shackles) doesnt have the swag trait charge but I think it does more damage and it's easier to land for me atleast, I can land a trait charge combo off a down 2 near the corner very easily but it seems off b23 its stricter, so this can be an alternative for ppl who struggle with it as well.

Also have an interactable combo in the corner w the "Aris Feris" or huge turbine thingy on feris aircraft stage :
f2d13,d1,f2d13,112,shackles,b3, instant nj2, interactable i think it does about 37% but puts opponent out of the corner but atleast you'll have access to the turbine when it returns, really easy on big bodies, on normal bodies its a bit stricter you kind of have to jump a bit forward and hit j2 and interactable bout the same time, I dont think this works on smaller characters.

Oh yeah also Idk if this was known already after hitting a character with the turbine you can combo the opp. with mb boulder timing gets some getting used to but it works.
