No, you'd be at an advantage greater than that, depending on when it hits during the recovery of the dash.
I was messing with this a little the other day. If I'm remembering right, you can end a combo with ex sfb, elbow dash in, d3~ex elbow and the forceball will hit at the perfect time.
The only difference is the damage boost and, on wakeup, EX invisibility has more invincibility. Frame data-wise, they are exactly the same.
In the case of invisibility, you take the cancel advantage on block of 32, and subtract the duration of invisibility from it. 32 is +26 when cancelled on block, invisibility is 28 frames of total animation. 26 - 28 = -2
So I still only have a 3rd of a second to adequately deal with the dash.. hope it's a better prospect in practice than in writing, lol. (disclaimers; I've only recently had exposure to Reptile offline) Thanks for the heads up again Somberness.
Acid Stream is -6 on hit? Is this a fucking joke? Well...scrap all that idea I just had.Still trying some shit though.
I'm trying out a new corner BnB and I thought using the extra meter for the reset was a good idea untill I saw this lol.So, so far I'm stricking to my regular BnB which I think I should make a thread about because I think it's better than the regular corner BnB and nobody uses it besides me and my friend. It's really good.
EX spit is designed to be an option when in regular elbow's range. It pushes the opponent out very far, and reaches well over 1/2 screen in 21 frames.
is it just me or is reptiles dash virtualy unpunnishable online? the frame data says its - 15 on block bit I can't even get in a poke
ex spit is useless. only time i ever use it is to get first hit on characters like sub and kitana where im pretty sure theyre going to jump/jump fan/clone
