My favorite BNB. Either Stance.

J2 - 3 - mb db2 - b3 - j3- f22u1 f2 db2

I think thats like 45% plus cross up set up.
(F22u1 can be a lot more than just a cross up, set up but its very good for amateur + intermediate ravens.)

Have fun..

Edit Never mind this set up is fraudulent. (will never post from work again, I was confoosed.)

However j2 -3 - mb db2 -b3- f2 db2 into j3 is still money for a cross up.

Ending in f22u1 is only a cross-up if the opponent doesn't move. If they hold back it won't cross-up. It's still nice for continuing pressure with j1,223 if the person doesn't wakeup. Ending in d1~lift (or almost any normal~lift if timed right) can set up an ambiguous cross-up that'll hit even if the opponent holds back.

It most certainly crosses up, with j1, especially if they hold back. If they do not move J3 should hit them with a cross up.

I'm trying it on Aquaman right now and I cannot get it to cross-up. Maybe it's character specific?
Yes it is.. But it should work on Aqua, I know it works 100% on GL.. If it doesnt cross up, it should completely whiff, right... I'm not at home so I can't test it right now.. but its like my bnb

I can't get it to cross-up when I'm holding back. Idk if I'm doing something wrong but I don't think I am.

Blind_Man why not putting combos with the 3 (two hits)? Or maybe I'm not getting the point of this thread, sorry.

Something like: 3 (two hits) ex lift, b3, ji3, f222 soul crush

So if you end that combo with f22u1, and just jump over them and j1. Are you completing whiffing or whats happening?

If I (the opponent, not Raven) hold back, the j1 hits them from the front because they're able to walk back just enough for it to not cross-up.

The point of this thread is to have bnbs that are actually used. I'm Gona keep situational combos very limited except in common situations like aa pillar combos. I've never used 3 as a starter in a match so I'm not going to put it in the thread. Basically this thread is for all the combos I use most often that everyone else should be using because I say so because I'm me and I'm amazing etc.

Probably because the only time you could start with a standing 3 is for punishing something really negative upclose which is an unlikely scenario, and seeing as how slow it is it's most often better to do a faster (but less damaging) starter so that you are more likely to get the punish.

Hmmm maybe I'm wrong! uh-oh. I just remember when people hold back it usually cross their inputs up and they do that dumb little back forth. but I'll have to test when I get home.

Definitely try it out when you get home, I could be doing something wrong. Make sure that you record Raven doing the combo so that you're controlling the other character and holding back. Sometimes that back and forth thing does happen but even then it still never crosses them up for me.

The only enders that do lead to cross-ups (that cannot be blocked just by holding back) are normal~lift and b2, dash, neutral jump normal.

I was horribly mistaken. I can't believe so many people get fucking hit by that so much, f22u1 is very fraudulent as a cross up.

Here are some max damage combos. Used as punishers only.
f22u1 3(1 hit)-lift mb b3 j3 f222-crush 45%
f22u1 f2 f222-crush 30% (close to that) easiest meterless punisher for most damage
b3 j3 3(2 hits)-lift mb j2 f222-crush 47% or close to that (a 2nd jump 3 will get you a little more)
f3 j2 3(2 hits)-lifts mb j3 f222-crush 48% or close to that
