Hey all! This past saturday, the 26th of September, I hosted the very first MKX tournament in Germany. We had international presence and a mixed top 5. But @Madzin took it very convincingly, coming all the way from losers to reset the bracket 3-0 and taking it again 3-0 in the next set over AT | Lucky0346

Results:

Special shout outs to @rubmytaco for helping me organize everything. Without his help it would have not been possible for me to play. Also thanks to @kelevra for creating the stream overlay for me. And of course to all players and everyone who supported this event!

I remember when you posted not too long ago that you wanted to run an event, asking us for advice on how to even start an event. It seems like a few moments later, here it is! Really man, congratulations. I really hope you can continue to grow this!

not even full, as it doesnt cover the round robin pools that reduced the 23 man bracket to 16. but whatever :D.

what is with you and the Sub Zero hate dude, I see you everywhere sprucing grandmaster hate...
if Subzero is 'braindead' and relies too much on clone and doesn't play by the 'rules' and circumvents the game mechanics (if at all true) then Quan does that 30 times worse... anyone with half decent execution can pick up Quan and do endless vortexes and unblockable setups. the best of the Subzero players could get beaten by one touch in a round.
I am not saying Quan players are braindead or have no fundamentals, but basically with little fundamentals anyone can do those broken ass shit with Quan and get away with it, Quan embodies the flowchart-type gameplay.

Yeah @Rey has a really good d'vorah as well that Match was really great you outplayed me The last round pretty well lol. I'll add you in psn I really want to learn that matchup

Hey gr8 tournament im a big fan of Madzin's and not suprised he won.

If u like his play theres a 2hr vid on youtube with him in an online KOTH and he uses all 3 Kotals and cryomancer.

it may have been hype for the players themselves, but no one wants to watch Sub mirrors in GF ...
Mirror matches mean nothing, it doesn't necessarily indicate who is the best character specialist. One player can take the lead and just turtle and punish.
