Also, at this point Mileena seems like she'll be showing up pretty soon. Kitana was revealed not long ago and they both go hand-in-hand, Kotal was at war with her for the throne so she's already got a bit of a role in the story and, of course, there was the Gamestop advertisement, so yeah.

I don't know....the guy has about a million bullets strapped to him and a pistol holster, I'd assume if he's playable he'd use those rather than a bow, but who knows.

I think he's gonna be killed off. Remember the "devastating loss" mentioned on one of the comic description previews

Well, yeah, I was uhming and ahing about it simply 'cause of that. Still, that guys got a rad design. I'd be really hyped to see how he worked if he was a character in the game.

This might just be the case. Although, it seems like Black is one of Kotal's hired guns. Or maybe I'm completely wrong and they're total bros. Guess I'll find out when Issue 4 is available.

This is the quote that causes the confusion. So, according to Ed, we are getting TWO VIDEOS on two different days with each having a reveal - AND there is an exclusive reveal on the stream as well. That makes three for this week.

Two characters incoming for MKX! One being revealed tomorrow at IGN and the second on Thursday during the NetherRealm stream!

There is no confusion. IGN has a reveal tomorrow, Stream has a reveal on Thursday (Edit: My Bad). Two videos, two days. There's no reason to believe there's a third.

So, we have Kung Lao, Kitana, Reptile and a Reveal for the stream (With the remote possibility of some Goro), plus lots of new stages. The first stream was over in a flash, and many characters/variations weren't explored or even used. Really hoping that we get some quality time with the 4 new characters and all their tools at least.

they can reveal 1 more new cast member to which can still happen

at first i thought it was maybe reptiles acid bubbles but the more i listen it sounds like water...
oh man what if like the whole time kotal kahn has been fighting mileena there's also been a civil war in the ocean
between tribes of deadly fish men who all hate each other until one badass shark guy unites them under his rule
like that one guy from game of thrones and he plans to take the surface of outworld since he's alredy got the ocean or maybe it's rain in which case they really need to flesh out that guy's story his moves are really cool but there's not much else there
