Are these really worth the $100 I just paid Amazon ? I sent back the Hori fight pad even though it felt good, but the R1 and R2 buttons on the front got in the way for me. I have the PDP TE stick but its to bulky and heavy and dont want it anymore. So my PS controllers are worn out and want to try something better. Hopefully the quality is worth the money but if not let me know !

Quality is awesome. I used the pad once and instantly feel in love with it. You literally build it to your liking, and the d pads are all pretty good.

The only thing that sucks is the ps3 dpad I have four of them and I cant do freddys far spike with any of them ....down back forward motions are not constant but If u can get the fight pad for it and get use to it ...its decent

The floating fight dpad is the best but it does take a little getting use to ...for example if your pressing right or left on the dpad and u have any pressure up on them u will jump without hitting up at all witch is Hella hard if u play kabal cause u might randomly jump during block strings but again if u get use to it its not a problem [IMG] this is my mlg pad

Those pads are godlike. I will soon be writing an official review for it too.

They are expensive, and the add on's they have to customize are a little pricey, but SO frickin awesome. Im turning my into a Portal themed pad haha.

yeah thats the reason I don't use the madcatz sf x tekken fightpad. I am still searching for something that is unarguably better than the ps2 pad.

Man, fuck...over $100 for a pad? That's busting my balls. That's nearly a dual modded Qanba right there with Sanwa parts.

I've heard the sfxt one isn't as good, but the wwe/ssf4 madcatz pads are really good. the dpad on them is the best out there IMO.

Dpads need to be like this...

if I hit left for example, I shouldn't be able to hit down/up unless I down/up.

I just got a 360 SxT fightpad and I really like it. Its lighter and the Dpad is a little more raised than the WWE fightpad. I actually prefer it to the bigger fightpads. Gonna try to pick up a PS3 version soon for tournaments since its finally corded.

yeah I already figured, but before I actually bought the pad there was nowhere on the net where I could find a reliable review, they all ahev different opinions. and k7 just posted he likes the sf x tekken better than the older ones, so it might just be preferences. But I like ps2 style pads better I am used to it I guess, I used to pull off links in AE pretty consistently. But thats why that mlg pad looks so damn good, it might be a better version of the ps2 pad.

Can you maybe post pictures of the other d pads? like the more ps2 styled ones. If I get enough money this summer I might buy the pad.

Hey guys, I got the pad today and while using it it seems to always do this : if I push forward or back it will usually go up/forward or back/ forward ! I love it other than that, and feels like a quality piece. Packaging is incredible too. Has anyone else had this issue or do I need to get a replacement ??
