Is all of the main MK tournament going to be held on Saturday or will Finals be on Sunday, as well?

And for the 2v2, are teams that are using the same character but with different variations allowed? Or are teams with same characters banned regardless of which variations are used?

It's just a 2-day event, all games will finish and start on same day, singles tourneys for almost all major games are Saturday only.

I don't see a full schedule, per say. But registration page has Saturday tournament games starting at 11:00 am CST. So I'm going in there like my first MK X match will be at 11 am, to be on the safe side.

In our mind's we've never really considered ourselves a "major". I really think there are only 4-5 actual majors each year. Our event is a Guilty Gear themed event but we always support MKX since the local scene is strong.

Funny thing is that most of our MKX pre-reg have been out of towners. Someone get on the GGA guys to register already! =)

In general FF is considered a 'major' for Guilty Gear and a regional for everything else.

Based on pre reg we seem to be looking at 40-50.

Correct as long as you're doing just singles pools start at 11am so you'd probably want to get in by 10 to be sure to have time to check in
