Just thought I'd post this in regards to my reset I posted earlier. After a bit of testing I've found that using 2,1xxUK instead of 1,2xxUK makes it a LOT easier to land the b1,2,1xxEn Portal. It does 1% less damage but you can land it pretty much every time.

How does that work when EX portal doesn't OTG or meaty?

No idea, but give it a try. Test it, as far as I know you can only wakeup out of it.

One corner reset I like to go for sometimes, and it's similar to the one hito was talking about, but ended differently, is doing 212/b214/b1214~upknee, 212~upknee, 12~upknee, portal. This gives you enough time to back up and bait a wake up or upknee their jump out into combo. If they don't do either the reset will connect and you go from there. It's a win, win, win for noob, unless it's a character that has a safe way out like reptile, raiden or w/e.

OTG is on the ground. Meaty is meat? lol and umm kara i have no idea lol

What's the damage on that combo like? I don't know if it's worth a bar if they can possibly jump, bait an Upknee and teleport punish. If I'm using a bar it's either to hit for 48% (45% ending with d4~black hole) or a reset the must be wake up dodged

What's the 45% combo you do ending with d4~portal? Why the d4 portal at the end? Just curious. I mean can't they wake up punish you before you recover on your portal?

212~EnUK, 4, 4, 12~UK, 12~UK, d4~portal. I end with d4 portal because it seems to put you in a better position than 12~portal

hey guys there was just a thread on the noob saibot forums i briefly read over it and a lot of people were saying noob saibot was bad... i honest to God believe that noob is an extremely underrated character, IMO hes high mid tier or A tier or watever u wanna call it. but what is all ur guys opinions on the character? if u do think hea good, why? and if you think hes bad, why? i think hes good because his zoning is good and effective vs most characters his up close pressure IMO is sooo under rated and i have a couple people who can vouch for me like @Soapboxfan but all around he is a highly effective character in my opinion and in the right hands will be far beyond what many people currently think of him

I think he is a misunderstood character. I think he's one of those characters that you have to figure out and it doesn't come easy.

I have mained Noob and only Noob since the day the game came out. I personally think he's a great character in the right hands, but it' s so much more about the player

i agree with both of you and did either of you see that thread will Noob still be bottom 5 in however long i was rage mode lolol i firmly believe that Noob Saibot is an underused under estimated character

Noob has the potential to be a top 8 character at a high level. His wake up game has to be respected, imo. His pressure and meter building is underrated, I believe. He gets a mix-up after 212 upknee that is central to his game, and if you condition your opponent correctly, you can really make them respect you. Quite frankly, I also think some of his match up data is wrong right now, but I think I'll post that in the match up forums. Shadow charge is also one of the best zoning tools in the game, imo, especially because of the knockdown it provides. I believe I am playing with an A tier character. I have beaten some really good players with Noob.

Haha. I do believe. Will be playing at Comicpalooza on the 26th. Louisiana will be playing a 5v5 against Houston, which I will be a part of, and I will be participating in the tournament. So, fellow Noob mainers, check that shit out. lol. Trying to spread the word for it because it is a big event for the South. Going for the gold.

All i can say is that the character isnt completly helpless. He has some of the best wakeups in the game IMO, and his zoning is good enough that he can hold his own. However, he simply isnt the best at anything or have anything that is straight up stupid to fight against like many top characters. kabal has iAgb, 2 ndc, sonya has d4msf1, cyrax has insane damage, etc. He is a solid mid to maybe high mid tier who can hold his own.

GL man i reallly think you will need it... just beware of noobs telleport, thing is blockable on reaction so its not the same as on line...
And GL to you too Grolarbear, i dont really agree with you guys about noob beeing that good, but its not like i want to see him do bad so make us proud
