Another Pacific Northwest Event happened this weekend and although it was small it was still hype!
Starting off the bracket is @GrifKitten and @Goldy. Raven vs...Doomsday?! Yes thats right Goldy pulls out her pocket doomsday and attempts to shake the earth out of tournament rival Grifkitten. Seems these two get paired up every event. But despite the counter, Grif would show his Matchup knowledge and Soul Crush his way to the second round.
on the other end of the bracket we have TrevarThePastor aka @HangNail with his new Batgirl taking on @Busta Clown with his usual Magic Mistress. The vortex and corner damage was all there was to see in this MU as the guessing game was too strong by Trevar and Busta teleports to the losers bracket.
Second round starts and we have Trevar vs Dink. MMH vs Batgirl. No neutral game here as both players lobby for damage and Dink takes the first round with some corner containment and space control. Trevar fires back with a constant barrage of mixups with some great usage of roman cancels and ends up sending Dink to losers 3-1!
Winners finals gets underway as Trevar takes on The King of Queen, Illuusions who opts to go with Green Arrow. Some really knowledge of the MU from both sides as it comes down to a nailbiting 2-2, Trevar slapping his buttons with excitement and hype. Illuusions gets the life lead early and Trevar struggles to get something started, a clash helps him make up for lost time but the patience and counters from Illuusions are too strong and he enters grand finals on the winners side.
Losers bracket action was underway as Busta Clown eliminates Banks and Grifkitten and Goldy makes her way to finally play Dink in tournament, trying again to earthshake her way past. Until we get to the top 4. Dink squeaks by his least favourite MU in the game to meet Busta Clown in losers semis. Busta gives one game a go with Zatanna but opts to switch to his batman who is forever improving. But Dinks MU knowledge proved too strong and he overhead teleports his way to losers finals.
A different approach against Batgirl is taken this time as Dink takes on Trevar, opting not to initiate any offense on the mixup character, hiding cowardly behind orbs the whole time in a performance that would make @General M2Dave giggle like a schoolgirl. Trevars teleport attempts are repeatedly stuffed by orbs, and the offense his is able to obtain is short lived and Dink takes his revenge and enters Grand Finals.
Green Arrow vs MMH. Illuusions vs Dink. Classic Grand finals PNW match. Some very nice conversions from Arrow, stopping teleports with up arrow combos into ice arrows. Keeping MMH guessing at every turn. MMH takes advantage of the stage elements where he can, but falls to an early 2-0 deficit. After a slight adjustment and a stage change Dink manages to Tie it up at 2-2 as they end up on Ferris Aircraft. Its a scramble for the corner as Arrow maintains an early lead firing missiles at will and keeping MMH away. The positions switch momentarily as MMH takes some corner control and it comes down to the last few pixels of health, But Arrow gets his fire arrows ready and with a few well timed Shots takes out MMH for another tournament win. Unfortunately due to internet problems there was no stream, but i will add in the footage of the finals when it is available

But the real story of the event were the cupcakes. The war continues as Goldy has outdone herself yet again! Not a single cupcake was left standing when the dust cleared as this month was caramel apple and Pumpkin spice with handmade frosting. Can @Awkward Sloth top this one? Only time will tell..
