With injustice on its deathbed with Mkx approaching in nearly 2 weeks can we take a moment to look back. Let us look back on individuals who became the first to show us how our injustice characters were meant to be played. This doesn't mean they placed the highest at tournaments or came up with the flashiest tech......this is for the people that made you go oooooohhhh so this is how you play them in high level play.
So let us look back at our Grandfathers' lives.
Aquaman - @Tom Brady - When injustice came out we were not ready for the might of atlantis, Tom would let us feel Arthur's fury at both civil war V, ECT 2014 and Winterbrawl......sadly he died from playing too much Diablo.
Ares - @Mr Aqua - overhead projectile, a trait thats plus on block and a teleport.....sounds like the tools for a top 10 character, well that wasn't the case with ares but this man made it seem like it when he got 4th at Civil War V. Last i heard before he died he went bankrupt in a MM with a local flash player.
Bane - @Grr - bane who was at 1st propelled into mid tier purgatory because of very limited loyalists. We finally realized "armour on specials is good" and thus thrusted this character into top 10 conversations. while this character was propelled up the ranks grr started using joker.......
Batman - @R.E.O. - batman, the staple to any DC game....the plethora of batman players would make any batman enthusiast jump with glee, but in our time of need their was one to rule them all, REO......but after finding out how much of a bill he was he moved on to other characters.
Black Adam - Rico Suave - Black "Backdash" Adam was a very prominent force in the beginning of injustice and had the placings to show. With great gains come great responsibility so Rico took up the helm and came up with what i think is the most genius tech in all of injustice the trait > walk up > f3.........shit still gets people to this day. Rico black adam died a warrior's death at Apex 2014.
Catwoman - @GGA 16 Bit - no one even used this character the first year of the so the first person to pick her up would obviously create her metagame from scratch so this former killer frost player decided to do it and ended up getting 2nd place at Final Round 2014, before dying to Nikolass at Fausty Frostings the year after.
Cyborg - @GOTS Cyborg
Deathstroke - @MITDJT - with the gunshot nerf, who would even do well with this character? then this man blowing everyone out the water takes deathstroke to top 16 at evo. mit died soon after trying to learn the whole cast.
Doomsday - aren't they all still doing d1-earthshaker?
Flash - @AK Harold - The flash was after released supposed to be "the kabal of the game" but after a few tournaments it wasn't shaping up to be that way. Then harold came in with probably the most patience we'll ever see from a flash player to date. harold died on top of a hilltop practicing RMSc's
Green Arrow - Chris G - The enigma chris G once again playing an Nrs game, picks up a mid tier character . The End.
Green Lantern - @Orochi - Green lantern was sitting very comfortable when the game first came out after the b13 rocket frame trap was found. After that tech was confirmed bill what then? resets! reset! and more resets! after getting top 8 at final round he retired at an old folks home and played hearthstone until he died of natural causes.
Harley Quinn - @RM SaltFace - harley with little repersntation outside of sonic fox and kitana prime were shocked to see a new harley playey in their ranks. Saltface using cupcakes and gunshots to beat the scorpionpocalypse at ceo and get himself a solid top 8. He was last seen cheating on harley with doomsday.
Hawkgirl - Darksteel - This man, what can i say? he showed us how stupid hawkgirl in the corner can be. though he didn't go to many big tournaments he did beat chris g and cossner in tourney. He was last seen in the slums of SoVa getting beaten by Sidthehaze in Xrd.
Joker - noone - who plays this character?
Killer Frost - @xKhaoTik - The man who played for 6 months then quit (or was that PR Balrog?). After beating KDZ in tournament he was in the lime light. after quitting the game he was last seen playing destiny in his rocking chair.
Lex Luthor - @Revolver - lex? that 1 character fab played for like 2 weeks. he's not that good. If there was one person who turned a lot of heads it was revolver, though due to his size and speed of his attacks was prone to bad mu's. that's why revolver's death at the hand of @Relaxedstate was so hard on many people......injustice won't be the same without him.
Nightwing - @Chongo - best nightwing free.....he would have won winterbrawl free if it wasn't for all these haters in his blinders....real talk. P.O.P. holding it down.
Raven - @Blind_Ducky - raven,also known as the most balanced character in the game. Ducky took this "fair" character and got himself multiple top 8 placings and finally a 2nd place at KIT. He was last seen watching my little pony or something.
Shazam - @Digit - Earth's mightiest mortal was but a chump compared to the rest of the cast and it seemed it would stay like that until Digit shook the world when he won with shazam. he is lived through his bastard son @RM Indecisive
Sinestro - @Pig Of The Hut - Once the best kenshi to roam the lands, now an independent sinestro player who don't need no lantern. He showed everyone how bright fear burns until he switched to a better character. Pig died at the hands of sonic fox at evo 2014.
Solomon Grundy - Tyrant - Solomon grundy born on a monday, buffed on tuesday, got second at nec on wednesday, dropped by tyrant on thursday, picked up by billy on friday, destroyed by grab immune on saturday, forgotten about by sunday.
Superman - KDZ - It was a desolate scene getting run into the ground by superman and his f23. Of all thee superman players there was 1 who showed us why kryptonians are running things by winning evo the first year of injustice. After the great patch of october he left the kryptonians to become an amazon.
Wonder Woman - EliteGoomba - This man beat @General M2Dave
Lobo - @Captain Oxygen - The lobo that shocked the world at winterbrawl 8. None was ready to block the command grabs. Oxygen was beat to death at Nec top 8. His body is unrecognizable.
Batgirl - @SonicFox5000 - former harley quinn player turned batgirl heroine. After the longest streak in injustice history of 1st place finishes this man will live on as one of the best to play the game.

Zod - @Pig Of The Hut - After he figured out his last character was a complete and utter bill he chose to use a good and op dlc character. He reminds of someone else but I can't quite put my finger on it.
