@GGA Max prevailed in Thursdays' latest GBS, after not winning a local GBS for a few weeks! Everyone assumed Bane had overdosed on VENOM but Max proved everyone wrong and also assured the world GGA's supply of salt will never run low!

Before a commanding Grand Finals victory over GGA 16 Bit, there were some notable happenings earlier in the night:

- @GGA Jeremiah debuted his newly minted Raven, and managed to get a few wins with her even! Maybe she's OK? Or is Jeremiah just that good?

- Hruza Da Bruza made it to the tournament on time so he wasn't immediately forced into losers via DQ. This unfortunately didn't seem to help him much, as he ran into strong opponets, first losing to 16 Bit, and then Truth (after defeating Fill Pops in losers).

- GGA Slips would bring out of retirement his CYBORG, only to get "counterpicked" by SaucyJack and his Scorpion and Deathstroke.

- @McCutty Mayhem would sign up under a new moniker "Coffee Black" - but the new name didn't seem to help his odds for this tourney; He was put into losers first round by @Heroic_Legacy and eliminated soon after by @GGA Saucy Jack (known as SuperJobber for the night).

- PPJ, as part of his return to "face" status in the community, tried 2 methods of face-turning: First, he went all Shazam for the night, and second, he mysteriously changed his stream name to "Dr Zandig" The resulting Shazam mirror with Heroic Legacy was possibly the most ridiculous match of the night!

-Wait, maybe not! Another hilarious match unfolded with Heroic Legacy and his Shazam vs Saucy Jacks's Green Arrow! The Green Arrow zoning proved to be frustrating for Shazam to get aroundl; at one point Suacy Jack held a loaded arrow for what seemed like 5-6 seconds, taunting Heroic Legacy to try to move! When Hero finally moved, the arrow released from the quiver of Green Arrow, finding its mark and freezing its target! Look for this and all the matches to be uploaded to the Official TEAM GGA Youtube channel.

- GGA 16 Bit ran all way through winners until he beat Max and his Bane in Winners Finals. The runback in Grand Finals vs Max, after 3rd place Slips' was defeated, would not go as well for 16 Bit, unfortunately.

@GGA Max good shit man, but a new and improved Supes will be there for Bane next week <_<

ps. Great shit to everyone! I saw some of the archived matches since I didn't attend (busy moving) and congrats to @theTruth for placing top 8!

EMPR_TWISTED wil be there to claim Max's throne next week <_<
