EVOLUTION 2014 line-up will be locked in soon! What games do you want to see?

It's about that time of the year when a line-up is decided and locked in for a major tournament event in the fighting game community. Evolution 2014, which will take place from July 11th - July 13th at the Las Vegas Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. To anyone who has ever attended this event in the past... they will say this is the "Superbowl" of the fighting game community.

Recently, a member of the SRK/EVO staff, Joey Cuellar "EvilMrWizard" tweeted saying, "The Evo lineup has not been locked in yet. This is probably your final chance to give us your input! What games do you want to see at Evo?"

The Evo line-up is decided by the community and tournament entrants are a big part of it. However, be sure to let Mr. Wizard know the games YOU want at EVO 2014! INJUSTICE for a second year in a row? What about Killer Instinct? MORRTAALLLLLLL KOOMMBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!???

Id say injustice is almost surely going to be there. The only thing holding it back was the absolutely horrible top 8 that was reminiscent of tekken 6 finals that killed the game in the US. The number one thing injustice has going for this to counteract the bad showing at Evo is the fact the game was patched since then and is way more balanced, which have created way more hype top 8s. I think if they have following the top 8s at recent majors they will for sure include it.

As far as KI goes, I think it will be a shoe in with Microsoft sponsoring the tournament. The numbers have been sucking for a new game, though slowly rising at least.

I actually think MK9 could be in it again. Last year they had to rent out 2 ballrooms and one of them was dedicated to Mk9, and Injustice, (as well as KI demo). No reason they wouldn't again if they have the space. It wont have top8 on the main stage (but it didn't last year either).
