i know you can do B33 rifle cancel into B33 but i cant get it in training mode.

I cant for the life of me figure out how to get 211 tackle to hit after rc 11 db2. Any tips or a visual cue I should look fir?

Corner Set up. B32D1- Follow with immediate Pressure String 21122 , Option Select on confirm with either caltrops setup or confirm into Sand Gust, Nj1 F12 SandTackle. If opponent is blocking high you can cancel block string into slide and come right out of slide with SOS 3. Or Ex the slide to create space since you will be switching into the corner if you confirm the slide.

if the opponent is blocking high you are much better off canceling with dbf1 for the tick throw, that way you don't corner yourself. You can also get a lot more meterless damage off the confirmed sand gust in the corner by doing (sandgust confirm) b2/4xxdb4, njp, f24, 211xxdbf1

not really its just kinda tough
the rifle swing is always awkward on when you can actually do something after it hits.
you can try just doing F3 after the 2nd 11 db2
you dont need a run for the F3 and it does 1% less so yeah lol

the full 38% combo requires max stamina too which is why F3 after 11 db2 is good

Nice stuff... I was also gonna say that the OP needs updating with BnBs for different variations. There's a lot of nice stuff in this thread that could get missed. The Ermac combo thread has a really detailed first post on all his combos for instance.

Also, since you've used so many abbreviations, I think you should add a legend for players new to Erron... not gonna lie even I got confused by some of them for a second

It's worth noting that your f12/3 corner combos will work on females if you do f1xxdb4 instead of f12/3xxdb4

That's the most common ender. Most people I play expect sand tackle when 21122 comes out. I do slide to catch them jumping or neutral ducking the ender

They made it so that you cannot instant air normal. you have to wait like a half second, so the timing is tighter. You can still do it though.

Don't know if the exact frames were mentioned, but I have MKX on both PS4 and Xbox one. After looking at b3,2,u1's recovery on XBONE, then comparing it with my PS4 updated version. This string has went from 23 to 28 on recovery, This being the main culprit for Erron's traditional BnB not working the same anymore.

Sorry if I missed someone mentioning the exact frame changes already.

His marksman variation really requires you to learn his rifle cancels to keep your mixups safe.

B33 rifle cancel 21122 swing shot f12 sand tackle - 34% is my meter less go to. Can swap the b33 for f13 for an overhead starter, 2% less damage.

If you wanna just get damage and not do the rifle cancels(these are unsafe if they block though) you can do:

F13/b33 swing shot MB run b33 sand tackle for 37%/39%. You can also not MB the swing shot and just run in and do 211 sand tackle for less damage.

It takes some practice to get consistent, Erron black is a somewhat technical character to play.

I learned by just doing f13/b33 into aiming the rifle and as soon as he kneels down, immediately dash forward and press run; it was easier for me to learn how to cancel out of the run with 11 instead of 211. Once I got it to combo consistently, I switched the 11 with 211. It won't even look like a dash or a run if you do it correctly.

Also if the rifle keeps firing accidentally, you've gotta hold the rifle aim just a tiny bit longer.

I've been having a lot of luck with gunslinger and marksman I think they fit my play style more than outlaw. With input lag being the issue it is on like my bnbs usually look something like. Sos4 rc b32u1 njp f122. It's really changed the way I play and I've won a lot of games like this coupled with good tootsies and reads.
