this looks tight i hope it doesn't suck like the others for 360/ps3. Raging blast2 was pretty good, Ultimate Tenkaichi was ASS

Retired June 2012. Unretired June 2013.
I've never played a single DBZ fighting game, despite being a huge fan of the series.

Are Budokai 3 and Tenkaichi 2 basically the most (or only) really well received ones?

Neptune's Beard!!!
"Battle of Z"? Lol Looks good and I like the idea of team battles. If it's done right, this could be the best DBZ game yet.

I'd be extremely happy with a super dbz port.

Too bad it will probably never happen =\
Me too. That game was designed to be played online.

It pains me that the Customization / Skill System, was both the best feature of the game and the reason it never succeded. For an hypotethical sequel to be successfull it would need all customization options to be more like the Groove System in Capcom vs SNK or Super Art selection in SF3.

PS.: A bit of shameless plug, check out the 2 combo videos I made a couple years ago: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL85360FECBC81922C

YO this reminds me of my favorite DBZ game EVER mixed with Tenkaichi. Back on the PSX.

Can't believe nobody thought of (or at least posted) it. This game was and still is the shit.

3v3 in legends and battle of z has 4v4...omgggg

I am the biggest Dbz fan like hardcore, but I have to say this will probably suck like all the other games, why can't they make a real fighting game with Dbz one like street fighter or mortal kombat engine or something similar, it would be legendary.

The closest to that is Super Dragon Ball Z. It works on a 2.5D engine: 3D movement, with 2D SF-like motions.

It was developed by a company started by Noritaka Funamizu, former Capcom designer known for helping develop the SF series, VS series, Darkstalkers series, etc.

SDBZ has many Capcom fighting game elements like Super Moves, Alpha Counters, Parries, Reversals, etc.
