Battle Arena Melbourne 7 (BAM7) Featuring Perfect Legend

Battle Arena Melbourne will be returning for its 7th instalment on the 22nd-24th of May 2015. As an Australian Mortal Kombat community, we are extremely excited to announce that Mortal Kombat will finally be featured for the first time as one of main games to be held at an Australian Major!

BAM7 organisers have been collaborating with WB Australia to make this an extraordinary event. WB have announced a $1000 pot bonus for MKX as well as more prizes to be come. Due to Mortal Kombat X having an R18+ rating, BAM7 will have a designated private area called "The Mortal Kombat Pit" and will be decorated with Mortal Kombat art!

We also just got word that a new challenge all the way from America will be attending BAM7 and that challenger is the two time EVO Mortal Kombat champion Perfect Legend!

The tournament will also feature some of Australia's best Mortal Kombat and Injustice players as well as various other players from different fighting game backgrounds who are all looking forward to competing and standing up against Perfect Legend to win the major prize!

[Update - 4th of May 2015]

The Top placing Australian or New Zealand player will receive a flight to Bangkok, Thailand, and Qualify directly into the top 4 of Mortal Kombat Asia Pacific Championship (MKAPC), held at South East Asia Majors. The winner of the SEAM event will be flown to Las Vegas to compete in Mortal Kombat X at EVO World Championship.

[Update - 19th of May 2015]

All participants who enter the loser's bracket must be forced to consume two teaspoons of Vegemite. This way, you can guarantee the entrants will be playing their A game. And you can also have the interesting dichotomy of Australian players considering whether or not to win or throw matches for free Vegemite.
Most Aussies love Vegemite haha!

Would LOVE to go but Melbourne from Perth is practically the distance from LA to New York... And I can't afford the flight :(
