Blue Blurs for Life!
I am posting this message on behalf of @Nubcakes, a top-notch Batman player who attends WNF regularly. Everything you will read below here is written by him.
Hey everyone, before I get to the main point of this post, I wanted to say that I've always enjoyed TYM and all that it has to offer from afar. Due to recent events that have revealed the declining state of the SoCal Injustice scene at Wednesday Night Fights, I can no longer hide in the shadows as a lurker.
With that being said, I'm here simply to reiterate the dilemma that @Cash has recently brought to everyone's attention: that support and player turnout for Injustice at WNF is dwindling. Although this general trend has been occurring for some time now, the problem has gotten exponentially worse since EVO 2014. Player turnout has reached a new low. As a result, Watson has explained to me and @MF SLAYER that this upcoming week will be Injustice's last week on the WNF lineup if numbers don't improve. As a member of the NRS community, I just can't accept losing such a valuable resource/tool/location to apathy. I can't accept losing the place that has giving me the ability and honor to play and learn from all of SoCal's best; including, but not limited to, @EMPEROR_THEO, Slayer, @Filipino Man, @RDK|Tyrant, @EGP Wonder_Chef, @Sajam, and @SonicBoomBrad.
In an effort to try and draw out some new locals, I am offering a ride to and from SuperArcade to anyone who lives within a 20-mile radius from the arcade. All I ask from you is your availability for an entire Wednesday evening (late evening!) and a minimum of $5 for gas. I hope this can provide the impetus some of you may need to come out and show your love and support for this great NRS title.
Thank you guys for your time and I hope to see SoCal's passion shine in full force this Wednesday!
Sincerely,
Nubcakes
