Hot damn! Discuss. This will make NetherRealm history as the largest Mortal Kombat tournament ever recorded. These numbers far surpass the second largest tournament turn-out, which was Mortal Kombat 9 at EVO 2011, which was over 500 entrants.

And remember! TYM has the "Bount Hunter" badge which will be awarded to any player who eliminates PerfectLegend, DJT or SonicFox from the tournament! The only player who currently has that badge is MIT.

Hotdamn that's good! Over 1k for NRS is fairly well in my book. SF and SSB will always have more people competing so I mean over all the other games is hella good.

At best, you can consider it a step up the ladder since this is a significant improvement in the turnout for an MK game.

Of course, what backs up the turnout is the fact that the game is the newest title on the block. The real test will come with acquiring consistency in the years to follow.
