In my opinion Manta loses to Fate without a doubt, his air specials and mobility are not a threat. He has to win the matches with chip damage and whiff punishes, but it is not enough considering that Fate has a better chip damage game, similar whiff punishing capabilities, and far superior...

I play with input shortcuts on and found a way to make it come out easily. Just do deep j2, db3 without sliding the thumb. Do 2 separate inputs for d and b, not the whole d,db,b motion. It should help

I'm doing it but I keep getting j2xxdivebomb. What are your controller settings? Input shortcuts off?

For some reason I have troubles inputting this correctly, my db3 never jails and if I do it too fast I get j2 into divebomb. What's the trick? :/
