D4, that is how you get most of your set ups. It has good range. And if it hits, f44 is unavoidable. You can also go for a throw(it will beat out any normal or special) Or if you're feeling risky go for a jump in.

doesnt own him, but yes baraka definitely needs to space him out. its just something a little nice for baraka because he literally cannot stand fullscreen with almost any character. even with life lead sometimes its bad... but anyways yeah its just something usefull to do for a little bit...

well the point is you can sit far back and out zone him, and not many will want to trade.

Playing against egp tyrant made me pick up some usefully ways of getting pokes in. even if I land a d3, his d3 can still cause havok(jax) and I cannot jump in or crossover whenever I want. D3 d3 dash back d4, so simple but it works so well. Will beat out jump ins and you're still in range...

I didn't get to test that out, but, when I did it in a match, the ex ground.pound. beat it. After f44, if I try d3 slices, I will get poked out before I can do a d3

The second part of f44 will beat out the invincibility frames.of his anti air grab. And yeah trying to stuff characters wake up is bad against most characters, but cyrax and liu kang will get stuffed 90% of the time. try it :)

Its cool, but sucks You can be poked out before slices by atleast Jax and lui kang. I think maybe any 7frame d1 as well.

air grab is a good wake up, if you cross him up, and there is no need to cross him up when youre in the corner. cyrax is one of the few players i always go for high damage when i have him in the corner, which is the opposite of what zoidberg said, so that is what im trying to discuss...

youre not wrong, im just expressing my preference. not only does it start slower, its much easier to punish from what ive seen. i dont think the 3% more is worth it, because from uppercut range, if you wanna go for damage, i much rather do f4,4 f4 reset and i dont see it as a reliable anti...
