What level of hype will Erron Black gameplay have after the stream?

Oh and Long Rifle looks crazy awesome. Block off the opponent's strongest (universal) movement option and casually saunter away while pelting them with bullets. The salt will be so real.

I mean more animation wise, he seems like he has a stick up his ass; I loved that coin move and want something with more personality behind it like that. They all just seemed like 50 shades of gunshots. The sand is a nice touch.

@Fractured_Shadow what did you think of Erron? Yay or nay?

I like a lot of what I saw, but feel like there's that one little "umph" that didn't fully reel me in. Maybe because I'm still waiting to see the rest of the cast.

He's around my Top 5 guys I'm trying out though after watching the stream.

Liked him much more than I thought I would. Will give all his styles a shot, probably enjoyed Gunslinger the best. Definitely NOT the Deathstroke of MKX, Takada has that shit on lockdown. For that reason alone I'm pretty hype to see good Erron Black players in action online.

I'm going to say a full 8/10. Great; not amazing, but still great. His X-Ray is probably my favorite out of all the ones we've seen. I love how his opponent's name is carved into the bullet. That's just awesome!

As for his moveset, I think it looks good. However, a lot of his stuff is projectile-based (like you would expect), but I'm honestly not that big of Zoner character fan. I prefer to get in and fight! Because of that, I think my favorite variation is the one with the Tarakartan blade sword. I like how it gives him more melee moves, but he can also stab it into fighters which causes their health to drain; Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance style!!

He is definitely cooler than I anticipated. With that said, I was expecting more buzz around here about him after the KK.

He is hands down the best looking zoner so far. His caltrops and low cancelable projecile are what sold me over Shinnok.

From what I have seen (and what I expect) I will be looking at:

1. Kenshi
2. Erron Black
3. Goro
4. Loo Cang
5. Shinnok

Erron disappointed not. As much as I like Shinnok, Erron just owned. I like the individual bullet x-ray idea. And the coin trick. And everything.

Same. I think the little thing I'm missing is seeing the rest of the cast. That low projectile and cancelable marksmen variation shot was what did it for me. If he isn't pure garbage up close he may be the guy.

So far I'm thinking to try first-

1. Kenshi

2/3 Erron/Ermac tie.
4. Takeda.
5. Shinnok's Necromancy variation


Liu Kang looked really good though, but my main training partner that I'll be playing daily is main'ing Lui so that's a no no lol.
