Not calling you out or anything but in the yrs i been coming here i too always wondered why you never been to any events in the area. @RM Cossner asks a question that i don't think is trolling hes just wondering the same as many.

I don't pretend to be good in MK9 or Injustice but i have showed up with no car via Transit to VSM (hosted by @9.95 at gamersedge) and also Dave and busters events hosted by @RapZiLLa54 . Just saying it would be great to see you show up once just to rock that ermac and have fun. IMO regardless its fun just hanging out with people that enjoy the same games you do its fun.Hope to see u on day man.

Also props to the @Evil_Riu48 for this post. I been surprised at co-workers i know that already reserved MKX while i still haven't nor bought my PS4. Hopefully next week i do that.

@MKF30 all trolling aside. How far are you from the break? If next level is that close you should go out to the first one to at least support it to help it last longer. No one gives a shit. I don't know if you're shy and worry about people judging you, but no one will judge you on appearances and such. Just show up and play to support your area.

I just go by what im told, dude calls me out a year ago says hes in europe, then mexico wont play dye to lag. At any rate, ive been told by sources hes not even at vsm often. No hypocricy there...nah. Lol

But any rate, nothing to do with that. My case regards money, travel issues. The topic also says 'local' i live in nyc, by local to me means half hour at most....

I can go to staten island locations where i live, or brooklyn is possible like i said. But for philly, l.i. Ive told everyone for years its too far for me.

Do you go to vsm? If i may? Shy? At first i'm quiet but as long as im near friendly people thats not an issue. Im getting two kollectors editions and limited edition. I think im good at supporting nrs. I just figured why not try to create a scene where i am, wouldnt that be helping the local scene?

BTW, break is far NJ from me. My friend got married oct of 2013 in middletown NJ, which is about 50 minutes away(with little to no traffic mind you) I believe the Break is roughly 50 minutes away(says with current traffic 45-50) if a tournament or event is say 6 pm, that's rush hour from 3:30-6pm, lol so that weighs in and probably tacks on a good 10-20 mins depending. I also don't drive and there is no P.T. to NJ keep in mind.

I can travel to S.I., BK and perhaps even Manhattan(even though that commute is annoying)

Woah. The call is yours ofc, but people have to spend 40-90 minutes just to get to their job while living in smaller cities. Sure you have nice infrastructure there if you can afford not leaving immediate vicinity.

I do wonder what the local scene here where I live will be. For IGAU it was like what, 2 dudes in a 12 mil city?

Our local, the break, is an hour away from us taking the NJ turnpike. Indy Decay and I just went to Virginia in a 6 hour drive to go to a local. It takes me an hour and a half to go to Darth Arma's house to play. Years ago, I had to take 8 hours buses, 12 hour plane trips or 2 hour train rides to go play for a weekend. And you're crying because you don't want to do half my daily commute to work. Not once ever.

That'd be cool if it didn't stop existing 2 years ago. So yeah in conclusion, you have never left your house not even to do groceries if you think half an hour is unacceptable. You live next to the best scene for fighting games and never showed up once. You have never gone to a major, even if they are 2 hours away from you. You spit on the time and commitment of people who actually go to locals, regionals and majors, especially considering most if not all live hours farther away than you. And to add a cherry to the cake, you pretend to be a top player. Lawl.

I know, my father used to drive 2 1/2 hours to work, upstate ny hsd to go thru the ny tunnel, thru nj turnpike was a bitch.

But then again thats for a job, thats kind of important. Lol know what I mean.one of my old jobs, used to spend 30 -50 minutes to get to work depending on the traffic and bus driver.

I'm not sure. At this point I cancelled my preorder and ordered the special edition on digital just so I would have it as soon as possible. Don't want to take the chance since Crystal Lake won't give me a confirmation.

I'll be hosting locals at The Arena in West Babylon along with @Scoot Magee every Thursday for those interested.
