I just threw out the TE2 for the round number. I will do more research before buying a new stick. I am leaning towards the Hori, last I checked they don't manufacture octo-gates for those, and you have to make one yourself? Most of the sticks I know of for PS4 are sold out everywhere already anyway. Hori and Madcatz both have a "good luck, we'll ship it later" type message on their sites, which is frustrating.
One of my other hobbies is playing guitar. I have always had a thing for Fender shortscale guitars that are no longer in production in the US but at still made and exclusive to Japan. So I always keep a look out for how well the US dollar is doing compared to the Japanese Yen. Currently, the yen is low while the US Dollar is high. This means that buying direct from Japan and importing is worth it. For example you can buy PS4 Hori stick from Japan (where they are not in short supply) and import for just $5 more (this includes shipping) than it would cost to buy here in the states ($160 dollars in the states, $165 importing from Japan). Here is a link (http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=GAME-0013820&page=top/search/list?s_keywords=hayabusa$pagemax=40$getcnt=0$pagecnt=1 ) you can search for other sticks on there and you will be getting the same type of deal.

Thanks! I figured you would have a better read on the situation than I.

Side note: good taste on the Fender shorts.

Well if you sit indoors all day, yeah one game or whatever games you must get that the ps4 can't will just be boring, but you get out and find other things to do so the games on ps4 are a fine,

Have fun on xbox, if you bought it just because of its rep XD or the few extra games you may get lol
Well clearly English isn't your first language so this conversation is pretty much pointless.

I had both new systems since launch and the past six months have picked up for the PS4 in terms of games. If you are worried about games we have Destiny, Dying Light, BF Hard line, Bloodborne, Borderlands Collection, MKX, Shadow of Mordor, a Better GTA experoemce, plus other games coming out throughout the year.

I have both as well, but prefer the Xbone for a reason most may not care about. Its external hard drive support (Ie I can install and play games off the external hard drive). The 500 GB each console come with is small considering the size of games. The xbox one lets you run and install games off the external drive and the PS4 does not (It lets you transfer games to an external drive but you cannot play them off of it. You must use the built in drive to install and play games). To increase PS4 drive to install and play games, you have to open up the ps4. This is why all third party games for me will be played on the Xbone.

I agree. I find myself deleting games on my PS4 to make room. I wish I had an external HD option. Hell, even Xbox has the TB HD that came with the Advanced warfare edition. I buy mostly digital games and its becoming an inconvenienve.

I'm not bothered by this whatsoever. In fact I'm of the faction that would like companies to stop catering to and making games for the old gen. It is IMO holding back what kind of game we can get because they still have to make sure it'll fit and work on the old platform. Hopefully delay's are a step in the direction of next gen only.

Any issues you've come across? I heard of this months ago but wasn't too sure about it.
I haven't heard of any. I haven't tried it myself. Don't have a PS4 yet (and probably won't any time soon).

chemist4hire posted the link to the Sony article about it since its a feature of the PS4 and they seem pretty supportive of people doing it. I wouldn't be surprised if there's at least a little benefit from going for a faster drive too, but I am just guessing about that. PS4 comes with a 5400rpm drive so upgrading to a 7200rpm or an SSD could benefit it.

This really sucks for those that don't have a next-gen console, but these things always happen in the middle of a transition between new consoles. Better tell my friend about this... He ain't gonna be happy.

better than PSnogames4
You know that's not true. 95% of PS4 and Xbone games are multi-platform, and speaking of the other 5%, PS4 has more exclusives. So by your own argument, Xbox has even less than the console you say has no games.
To be fair, majority of console owners mostly play multi-plat games, so it's down to preference, really.

This is sad in my opinion.
People like you will say that MK X right now has awesome graphics while in 5 years you'll say it has shitty graphics.
Well ya. MK1 used to have great graphics, but by todays standards it doesn't. It's called progress. I'm sure everyone in hot climates thought the electric fan was great too until A/C became more common place.

I remember when Shadows of the Empire came out on N64. At the time I thought "Holy shit! Look at those graphics!". Now I'm like "Holy shit, look at those graphics!" (but, you know, in a bad way). I think that's just the nature of gaming progress.
Exactly. I played this game; it was fun at the time but I prefer modern games.
