Can we add the cyrax piecing back together again (teleport animation) before going into his win pose at the end of his self destruct fatality to make it less lame? :D

So upon looking at a couple things (mainly the new combo enders) I picked up on something, and figured I'd inquire about it...

Cyrax - HP,HP,LP,F,F+LK - This doesn't come out if you hold down the LK at the end (say if you wanted to retain a bomb-charge). I figured this may be down to balancing (retaining a bomb-charge might be somehow OP? Iunno).

Sektor - HK,HK,F,D,B+HP - This does come out if the HP is held. So again, I figured this came down to balancing, as there is no reason why you'd need to retain an HP-charge with Sektor, yet there is a reason to retain an LK-charge with Cyrax.

U-Sub - HP,HP,B+HK,D,B+LP - Yet, this doesn't come out if you hold the LP. This is what threw me, seeming as I couldn't see any reason why you'd ever need to do that, and why it'd be hacker/balance related.

So yeah, was this all intentional? Has something been overlooked? Is this a bug? Is this even relevant to gameplay?

None of this is relevant...nor is it intentional. The Cyrax one I understand because he has a press and release LK option. Usub on the other hand does not.

Also, if you can't press LK to do the bomb and then hold it again before he recovers then you should reconsider fighting games ^_^ I'm just messing with you btw lol

Ahhh, okay, I figured I'd just point it out in case it led to a larger underlying issue (something like the no dashfist whilst charging a GP that vanilla Jax had) :)
Also, I'm a massive sucker for consistency :D

As for this statement, all I have to say is "once a scrub, always a scrub" :D

Did you guys fix Sheeva's horrendous hitboxes? That's the main problem that needs to be addressed, extra damage not so much.
Her hitbox can actually be an advantage too, defensively. It also gives her the longest reaching HK. Not to mention she's hard to juggle because of her hitbox.
 
Wow, nothing posted here for a week. Is this still being worked on, or is there aggressive talks to have this bundled with half-life 3? :(

Hacker is still taking a break. You guys will know as soon as I do when more progress is made.

So the guy took a hiatus in the middle of a beta? it would just be nice to have human smoke and noob selectable again. I don't really care about any of the other mugenized changes.

That's not true and you know it. My bad, I really do appreciate the work the hackers done so far, I worded my post very badly. Just wish that we could see the next thing the hacker has done really soon

Hello everyone. Edited a little crazy cyrax (snes)
maybe an idea for cyrax (arcade), would increase the combo: HP, HP, LP ending with more speed to allow a new blow. But with the low arcade speed, don't know if it's possible something like that. Just a thought.
 
R.E.O. posted videos explaining the basic system mechanics using practice mode, but how do I enable practice mode?
Do I need to modify the “cheat.dat” file?

It'd be neat if it was possible to add a practice mode to the game and make it enable based on one of the dipswitches in BIOS or something. Although that's probably a nightmare to hack into the game.

I think the faster start up on the freeze and the longer duration of the puddle, along with being able to have the freeze thrown with the puddle out, is huge for c sub.

I'm not really a fan though of the fact that I can pretty much get up and make a sandwich during the slide's new recovery frames. Otherwise I was really excited about his changes.

In the interim of waiting for the hacker to finish the full game, I'd love to see him release a simple "no corner infinite and no block jab" UMK3 without any other changes. Just something so that those who prefer the game without the other massive changes can play in the interim.
