I think there is so much of the 5-20 years before Cassie that we didn't see, story-wise. I bet he is in there somewhere, along with Quan and Shinnok.
It is definitely Kitana. That costume is exactly like one from her Alternates art that was shown on the Kitana/Reptile stream. Another user even posted the comparison pic here somewhere.

Broken DLC just you waitI really can't help but think that with everything that is happening, Shang Tsung is in the background somewhere pulling the strings....
But then again, I really just want Shang Tsung to be alive and playable in MKX.
4th is mileena 5th is sindel, she's fighting and has a detailed look/new costume. but obviously erron black is gonna be playable too i guess just not "confirmed playable" from the trailer. hopefully the next stream or upcoming trailers show more gameplay, this trailer was epic
Sindel has a new costume its just similar to her mk9 oneThis costume is way too detailed and he is way to involved for this to be a cameo or NPC appearance.
Seriously, no NPC ever has had this much detail to them, and Sindel, the only other MK9 new appearance that we know for sure is rocking her MK9 model with evil filters and veins on it but nothing new.
