If this were true, no one would be happy with anything, ever. If there is a problem with something that affects functionality, or the consumer was promised one thing and given another, sure.

But man..some of these MKX complaints have been straight out of Looney Ville.

I love it when people complain about the faces. Granted, back in the day they looked a little wooden, but people have this expectation that the females have to look like a fucking model all the time or something. Silly.

I think what some people are trying to say is, I don't think NRS can release a fighter that's standout and memorable.

Out of all the new ones, Kotal is the only one. D'Vorah looks weird, Cassie is ugly and her stance is ugly, Ferra Tor is cool, everyone else is underwhelming.

For example, take a look a C.Viper or Sadira and compare their uniqueness to anything in MKX...the only one that comes to mind being as cool is Erron Black but we don't even know if he's playable.

You heard it here, folks. It's impossible to know what things were like in the past unless you actually experienced them for yourself at the exact moment in time they happened. I guess Ps2s didn't exist after 2005-2006.

This is an opinion, nothing more haha. Some may think that the females in MKX have the best aesthetic, some may think SF, others killer instinct, and etc. It is all just what people like if you want to be real about it. I dnt see anything wrong with the new characters in MKX, they have great designs to me but to others they feel differently. Overall, all that matters the most is the gameplay of the game. A good looking game doesn't equate to a game that will play well.

i personally thought C. Viper was pretty questionable, like a forced attempt to create some modern badass woman fighter. lets not even talk about rufus...

cassie and kotal are already new fan favourites imo, even before the game is out...

People act as if nrs are doing us a huge favor and we are not entitled to anything... Hello were the goddamn customers lol we dish out 70$ each for the game.. Thankfully I think everything is great up to now besides getting rid of the dash canceling

I agree, I don't think I've been hyped for this amount of new characters since MK3. Their design look good and just the fact that they will play a role in a fleshed out story makes me excited.

As I've said before, NRS story mode can make characters be likable therefore people will want to play these characters. So imo if the story mode is well made(by the looks of it it's looking great) then I bet most characters will be cool and their looks are shaping up to be awesome to boot.

The thing is we need official confirmation that only 5 of the characters in the story trailer are 'confirmed'. He said 5 characters 'revealed' which isn't exactly the same thing. We saw 6 characters in kombat (takeda, Jaqualine, Kung Jin, Rain, Mileena, Sindel, 7 if we count shinnok), 3 in gameplay, 11 total unconfirmed characters (takeda, kung jin, Jaqualine, Shinnok, JC, Sonya, Baraka, Sindel, Mileena, Rain, Erron Black, did I miss any?), 4 classics in 'new' outifts (5 if shinnok's is new, I can't tell to be honest). Add to that mess that Erron Black had differences in his weaponry in at least one scene, and what we do we have? Konfusion.

Is there is a difference between a 'reveal' and a 'confirmation'? would a character that is unlocked by gameplay not be considered 'revealed'? Would a character who is definitely DLC, but shown in the story in this trailer, not be 'revealed'? There are just too many factors to consider here to be absolutely certain.

That being said, the 3 new characters with gameplay are necessarily confirmed, while Mileena was spotted in the challenge tower and thus more or less confirmed in my estimate.. that leaves only 1 of the remaining as 'revealed'. Would we consider Erron Black to already revealed because of his comic appearances? Like I said.. it's a mess of speculation until we have another solid corner pieces to work with.
