I'm eager to see how Jacqui uses those big ass guns on her forearm guards. If she's anything like Jax then its gonna be pretty fun to see his power style done up with an arm cannon motif of visuals.

Very cool trailer, can't wait to play this shit.

Hella upset at the lack of cyborgs, I think I'm done holding out hope for one of them to be in this game. New characters look great though.

soooo looks like Kung Jin is descendant of Kung Lao.....who would of thought

but let me explain something... ed boon said in a previous interview that the game will have a lot of new chars but not more than Deception. I guess the num in Deception was 8.So, we might see no more new chars from now on. And if we took out all the other 7 that appeared in the trailer who else would be in ? lets count some :
smoke-noob-cyrax-sektor-kabal-fujin-reiko-( I dont think chars from MKDA are going to have a huge presence so .. )
can those seven replace : rain-shinnok-baraka-sindel-sonya-johnny cage ?

maybe ... but guys SHINNOK has to be in ! he is the reason that MKX exists don't forget !!

so i think that at least rain & shinnok and maybe baraka and sindel will be in for sure

I would replace Baraka with Reiko. Reiko has proven to be way more relevant than Baraka story wise. Sindel.. Forget about it. As for rain, Im starting to doubt it now. But Its up in the air for the time being. The smaller the open slots, the harder it is to figure who's making the cut.

Uh, Reiko's doomed and Baraka is in the trailer. This one is not that hard.

Also, anyone else have theories on Sub, who he is? I'm going to say Kuai Liang! Makes no sense to bring back Bi han only to make him Sub again and give him the same scar? Not buying it. I'm going with Kuai Liang til NRS confirms otherwise! Though Sub seems more neutral/good this time around as oppose to getting more directly involved but guess time will tell. Man want this game now, now!!! lol

The masked/unmasked is a costume change, but the masked he clearly doesn't have his scar or if it's there hard to see...


I take it Ermac is officially sided with Mileena's gang, I think but then he was walking with Erron Black who has worked with Black Dragon and Kotal Kahn so who the hell knows lol.

Anyone else notice Ermac's alternate look? No hoody? Unless that's his look without the hoody cause his mouth looked the same?

Also is that Evil undead Kitana? Has to be before she comes back normally.

zombie sindel looks cool but couldn't care if she was brought back.


WB has this thing for beards haha. First DC heroes Batman, Superman now Scorpion and Sub-Zero haha.

Still no Fujin though, Johnny Cage confirmations. Man I dont know why but have this bad feeling both will die at some point.

I see Rain apparently isn't DEAD afterall..interesting, some durability considered he was fucking fried like Kennedy's chicken lol

Mileena looks hot in a older kind of way.

Takeda has whips, Kung Jin has bows. I'm very curious how they play, Jin's bow fatality is flashy as fuck lol. I still have no interest in Jac Briggs, I know she didn't say much here but from this trailer she looks just as boring as she is in the comic just listening to Cassie and her best buddy apparently. Now, Takeda and KJ on the other hand and Erron Black I'm curious about.

Characters I would say are more than likely in:

Rain, Fujin, Reiko, Shinnok, Sonya, Baraka, and idk who else.

Don't forget that Gamestop did mention Shang Tsung.

Both are Earthrealm warriors, they probably got revived or something on behalf of the Elder Gods because Shao Kahn's invasion was against their rules. So maybe the Earthrealm warriors that died during that war was revived??

Kung Lao was part of the end of MK9 possessed club, but we only know pieces of how (some of) they came back.

Based on the comic, we know for sure Jax and Cyber Sub (as a man again, somehow) made it back via Netherrealm War (Jax had a kid, Cassie knows him).
Based on the trailer, we know Kitana and Sindel remained (Both are possessed and fighting adult Cassie).
Based on the stream, we know Jade didn't (She still dead, Kitana has her toys).

Given Quan Chi makes a remark to Raiden about seeing his friends in the Netherrealm, its that means at least someone good is still under his control even 25 years later (Stryker, Nightwolf)

Based the fact that he's aged, Kung had to make it earlier than 25 years later but there's Raiden's "where have you been" and Kotal's "what is the meaning of this" prefight lines, casting doubt on that.

My current theory is that Kung Lao was rescued in the war, but due to the fact that Raiden fucking killed Liu Kang he probably went off on his own and just hasn't bbeen seen in a while, similar to his original MK3 ending. Maybe he has just now (25 years later) come back into the picture, probably having something to do with his little cousin being in danger.
