They're really good. But they look like mini fatalities/special fatalities. Not complaining at all though. They look astonishing....

To be honest, was disappointed once I learned Brutalities were coming back. Sure, they looked cool and required execution, but I never bothered to learn them because they were just so unappealing to me. These new Brutalities are awesome. Finally I can fatality someone without having time to make a sammich before they actually die. Golf clap.

I quite like them. I especially like how it seems that each variation has a different brutality, although obviously it's uncertain whether or not that's actually true yet.

That said, Cassie's where she punches her opponent's groin and their head falls off... that one is just silly...

I think they are AMAZING. But I also think they should've called them something else. I picture brutalities as the violent beating of the opponent until their body is mangled and torn up, which could've been saved for a future game.

They would've been better off calling it something else and saving real Brutalities for MK11. Not "omg 15 hits and a guy explodes" Brutality, but an updated version of a pure physical beatdown into oblivion that differently animated per character and it being a Brutality. Lost opportunity.

With that being said, I think these some of these new finishers are amazing. Nice addition to MKX. Going to be great finishing intense matches with these.

I'm not going to lie, I wasn't feeling them much when I saw the trailer. I definitely see the potential they have in tourney scene, and looking at it now its a better concept than what they had in mk3 (I still have the nostalgia feels of 5 skulls and rib cages haha, but yeah not a legit concept in today's era). However, I felt it could have been presented way better than it was.

Yup. The thing is if they would have just kept the old style with a really long combo and just had them die similar to how they do now instead of 18 rib cages it would have been better for the most part. There's nothing hype or brutal about someone randomly exploding from a punch in the nuts.

My exact thoughts.
