sadly, from my experience, the only reason why companies dont show much of a game is because they dont have anything to show.

half the cast hasnt been revealed, basically no story info, the game comes out in a month and a half and were still getting non character reveal streams.........

but i am stoked to see how brutalities look and hopefully more of the currently revealed characters movesets, variations, second fatalities etc.

Except that Quan and CSZ were hidden characters so they obviously wouldn't get a reveal, Sheeva is as hype as a doorknob, and Smoke was leaked prior to release. But yeah, good point.

imagine any other franchise with this little info this close to release. it doesnt break my heart or anything, i think character reveals are as cool as the next person. but we know so little about the game lol its nuts

Yeah, if any other release attempted what Netherrealm does with MK, it would be deemed unacceptable and some might even boycott it. People like to know what they're buying and the lack of info is kind of ridiculous.

Man so many people here that want the whole roster before release acting like unless they know the whole roster they're not getting the game lol. I want surprises upon release, so what if we only know roughly half the roster now, it'll make it that much sweeter being surprised by a favorite character making it or seeing a brand new bad ass fighter.

Can't front. That SFV Charlie trailer got me hella hype. Sucks it doesn't come out any time soon.

I would be cool with no character reveal if they actually went in depth with the current characters. Or at least just showed us a couple of recorded matches of PPJ vs Bit. Or explained the factions in detail. Or the story. Or something.

I'm curious as to how they can possibly stretch brutalities and simplistic gameplay for an entire stream. There has to be more than that on Thursday.

I imagine there will be some hidden unlockable characters in MKX that will be a complete surprise as well. Can't wait to find out who. :)

I'm buying the game regardless. I just wish that we knew more about it. We have almost nothing on the story and frankly, the current roster is pretty underwhelming in my opinion. I mean, Scorpion and Sub-Zero are a given, Raiden, Kitana, Reptile, and Kano aren't that surprizing, and it's kind of hard to get excited for the new characters when we know very little about them. The only one that really excited me was Cassie Cage, but she was announced at the beginning and the hype has sort of worn off by now.

I think it would be super awesome if on the final stream before relase, they go about their usual stream business and nobody's expecting anything but one new character to be added but at the character select screen there's like 20 characters but they don't acknowldge them at all, the just show some gameplay from a character or two and maybe a stage. That would be so hype.

A new robot would be cool. What about a white palette swap ninja? We have yellow, blue, purple, green, red, and black already. We need white to complete the Power Rangers!!!

I'm not too fussed about character reveals, although they better reveal Mileena real soon >: [

Just hope, if they aren't going to give us the full roster, that they don't get leaked although I'm not sure you can really stop it.
