Evo 2015 Tournament Hall Passes Sold Out - COMPETITORS CAN STILL ENTER!

Given Evolution's reputation as the annual championship event for the FGC, it probably comes as no surprise to you when you hear about the update from Mr. Wizard. He has confirmed that Three-Day Passes for EVO 2015 are now out of stock. Unless they are somehow restocked, this means that you cannot view the finals in the closest possible proximity in the venue's Tournament Hall. However...

Well, check out the tweets.

As the second message confirms, you will still be able to enter EVO 2015 as a competitor. You just will not be able to view the finals up-close if you do not place within the Top 8 of your game, meaning you'll have to watch from the projector in the Exhibitor Hall.

If you're going to EVO, I suggest you get your plans finalized as soon as possible.

Got one of the last ones as James Chen announced they were sold out about 40 minutes after I bought mine.

You can still buy competitor passes, you just don't get to view finals on Sunday in the viewing hall.

Yeah but the main hall experience is something that all competitors want to xp haha. I mean u could get top 8 (only a max of 40 top 8 different players of course) or u could get in the other way (which I am sure u guys know what I am talking about).

The 70$ passes are out where u are guaranteed a Sunday seat for the finals in the main hall.

Oh yeah, that title is way wrong. The Main Hall passes are sold out for viewing top 8's on Sunday. There's still the viewer passes that allow you to see it on a big screen outside the hall and the competitor passes which allow you to compete.

Selling out this early to me means next year it is on EVO to get a bigger venue.

Damn didn't know the main tickets would sell so fast lol just paid for the basic and MKX.

Evo Registrations were mentioned quite a while ago. A poster on their I believe did mention they most likely would sell quickly.

Bummer I really wanted to watch MKX finals in the Main Hall, but haven't gotten a pass yet because I'm only 75% sure I'm going. Boo!

Exactly, I mean the view you get from being sat infront of the monitor while playing is pretty dope

I registered last night due to this though, would have liked to get flights sorted and everything but fuck it, I'll make it work.

I don't like this, kinda forces the hand of.people.unsure if they want to attend, unless of course its possible to get a refund.

Regardless, this EVO seems like its gonna be HYPE!!!
