i didnt hear that (although could be wrong) and I would completley stunned if we got more than 6-8 "New" chars as in completely new to the MKU.
About as confident as one could possibly be.

A problem with this list, is that that would leave only one member of the black dragon clan; Kano.

What was said was that MKX will "probably introduce more new characters than any other mk game". Which, going by Deception, is at least 9. That said, it's REALLY unlikely that Boon has that sort of stat under his hat for a random stage demo, which is why he said "probably" and not "literally quote me on this". But when the number turns out to be 6 or 7, we'll rake him over the coals anyway.

I'm confident there will be at least one cyborg. I like the Hotwire theory of a new character with the variations of each of the old but Sektor is the guy with most pull when it comes to the story.
