The guy with the bow is most likely Salazar or Fujin. In the leaked casting call for the MKX live-action digital series, it mentions Salazar as having awesome weaponry skills. It could also be Fujin since he did use a bow in MK4, and they may have re-designed him. But it seems like it is Salazar (and I hope it is), the character just has that look of precision and accuracy with a weapon, very fitting to Salazar if the leaked casting call is correct.Where's the bow guy?
im glad you said that actually, i think alotof people upset about sonya and cassie are forgetting that stryker most likelywont be in this game and him and sonya were both in mk9 and can be seen as similar on paper. so why flip out about cassie and sonya?

I don't know who is that salazar guy except that he will be on a new series, so you could be right. And aside from Rotancho, the rest of your list pretty much nailed it.
Salazar (supposedly) is one of Kotal's mercenaries/army men, so Salazar is looking very likely. Is this official or your guess? Because if it's official then most than likely bow guy = Salazar.
It's from the Casting call for the MKX Digital Series, here is Salazar's description, "In his mid 30s to 40s, quiet, reserved, downcast, he is a mercenary in the service of the Emperor. Intelligent and eloquent, he sounds like he may be American. Salazar's exact origins are unknown. Born on Earth, he somehow found himself in Outworld. There he spent years wandering its vast territories, selling his amazing weaponry skills to local warlords. Now, in the employ of the Emperor, Kotal Kahn, Salazar shows no inclination to return to Earthrealm, or aid them in their present struggles."
They were far too deep in development to do a bunch of characters and start over on new ones when he said that.

Salazar is probably a tossed name for Erron Black. The description fits him perfectly and it would be weird to have two mysterious shady outworld mercenaries originally from earthrealm working for Kotal Kahn in the game.
Maybe the new rules for this tournament wont let the survivors: Sonya and Cage directly participate, only god knows, maybe they make the cut, maybe they dont.

I doubt it, their most likely different characters. A lot of the characters in MK come from the same background and have the same intentions, look at Kung Lao and Liu Kang. Both White Lotus monks, from Earth, both participating in the MK tournament to defeat Outworld under Raiden's supervision. And in the actual MKX story, if Erron Black is still alive, he may not even be working with Kotal. Also, I can't see the "bow guy" being Erron Black unless his costumes in MKX are drastically different from his comic costume. I haven't read the comics in full, but from what I have read I don't think Erron uses a bow-and-arrow, at least not in the comics. Honestly though, it could be anyone. It could be Fujin heavily re-designed, but after looking at the pic again, I'm highly doubting it since he appears to look like one of the men from the army that is marching in the "NEXT" trailer.

I suppose it is possible, I never really thought about the possibility of them being the same character. Though, someone on an IGN video said Erron Black reminds them of Kobra. I could see that tbh, I have a feeling Erron Black might be a returning character just in disguise. I do have this gut feeling that the Bow guy is Salazar, when I look at the pic from the Living Towers, and than read the Leaked Casting Call description of him, I just picture him. I hope it is, I really like the idea of Salazar, I hope he actually is in the game.
