Apparently they were speaking Mayan but, aside from that, the Indigenous weren't any more barbaric than the Europeans...

At first when i capped this shot, i though, it would be Scorpion and Forrest Fox chasing down Kano for something he did, but Forrest is dead now, and those aren't Takeda's Forrest's or Scorpion's weapons of choice, the only Character who uses Kunais is Skarlet, i wouldn't be surprised if she starts using Shurikens in the future too, after all she is a genuine kunoichi type with blood magikal powers, a Hemomancer, which makes a big difference in comparison with Edenian class warriors, which makes sense she being in the comics, hopefully she is in the game, after this, i really hope she is.

That's not what he said nor what you asked.

You asked if we'd see Ermac (which Shawn already said "Soon!" to in a previous tweet I screenshotted and put in a post in this very thread which you have most likely seen) to see if he's good/bad/neutral. You did not ask if the comics would explain how and why he is the way he is (although that is super vague and even I have no idea what you mean by that).

Eh? When did you ask all of that regarding Ermac? Perhaps if Ermac would show(which I imagined he would anyway after the confirmation) but I don't recall anyone else asking regarding explanation regarding Ermac's allegiance. At least asking Shawn directly as I did.

Yeah they said for his Spectral style you have to do that to cancel the flight? Seems kind of a pain lol. Hopefully we can just block to can it.

Firstly, @CD jr might be interested to know that Rain may be appearing soon in the comics!


We will get a backstory for D'Vorah and/or Erron!


We will find out more about the situation between Kotal and Mileena as well as the timeframe of issue(s) 5(/6) in the next comic


Could the heart Kotal is seen drinking in Raiden's vision be of someone we know? Maybe it's just a random fallen enemy...


Also Shawn hints that other less explored characters may make an appearance in the comics too, like Kai. He also goes trolling about Hsu Hao lol

I didn't ask that lol someone else did. As I said, I even screenshotted the tweet of the person that did ask and posted it in this thread so it shouldn't be too hard for you to spot.

Edit: The guy asked if we'd see Ermac, not so much about the allegiance thing.

here's the thing CDjr. Why are you not pestering Boon about Rain?

I also don't think my heart will handle. It all depends if Rain has an updated design. If he has MK9, he won't be in.
Basically any character with old designs (Hsu Hao, Reiko, Jarek...) won't be in. Shame about Reiko. I like Reiko.
Curious though... Shao Kahn HAS an updated design. His helmet is different.

But really CDjr. Go pester Boon.

Why do people keep thinking Erron Black will be the "unimaginable loss"? Dude hasn't even done shit yet. All he's done is stand around while his cape flaps in the wind. He and Kotal hardly seem like they're best chums.

It's probably his father/family.
