Guess I should have said "I could imagine Scorpion or Kung Lao screaming like that". I dunno, I was just thinking of all the screams we've heard from the current roster and couldn't put it to any of them.

Which leads me to believe that maybe the character screaming is the reveal? Could just be Reptile doing the Fatality on them.

EDIT: After comparing this sound bite to the sounds heard during Reptile's Fatality, it doesn't seem to fit. I now officially have no clue who that is screaming. And I'm kinda hyped for it.

I think it's Ermac if it's just a normal Fatality, but to me it sounds like the guy is falling quite a distance at first so it makes me think it's a Stage Fatality, or maybe Ermac is just lifting himself up really high and slamming himself lol, Hara Kiri! all I know is I'm HYPE son.

This game walks to be like Injustice, 24 characters + 6 DLC.
Boon give a lot of interviews on BGS (Brazil Game Show) end of 2014 including Brazilian open TV.
Boon insists many times on these points, since MKX reveal:

New game and a lot of new chars.
Maybe your favorite character will be a DLC.
30, 32 or 33 chars probably, he say many times, the development team make a lot of things for more than 30 chars.
A new MK age,
Still considering funny things for the game.
Easter eggs.
Good suprises.

If its not rain then boon is a master troll. Bernie Mac was in a movie called the color purple that released in 1985 same year as prince around the world in a day album. Bernie wasn't famous yet just appeared briefly in the movie. In the pic boon posted there is purple in the background. Also in the teaser you kinda hear thunder/lighting in the beginning before all the water or blood sound comes. Sigh I don't have hopes for the character anymore but after connecting the dots it only makes sense

I wonder what it's like to just put out a picture on your twitter page or a video of just audio and watch hundreds of dedicated followers decode the meaning of it like it's a fucking enigma code. I'm not sure if I would want that kind of power or not.

It can either be Rain, Ermac, Fujin, Kenshi or someone completely new. Or a stage fatality. It will be revealed tomorrow.

Edit: Honestly, I think it's like a pit fatality, like someone gets knocked down and is cut into separate pieces, cause if you listen closely, you can hear a thud at the end before the announcer says fatality. Or idfk, I'm just excited lol

How could it be Ermac with all of those bubble sounds? It doesn't sound right.

It's Liu Kang. He morphs into the dragon in the beginning and chomp chomp chomp. I'll bet those bubble/gurgling sounds are gallons of blood flowing down the dragon's throat. There's even a similar "morph" sound at the end when he turns back to human.
