I don't think people forget this really, they have just grown attached to Reptile's human form. I prefer the human form as well, but at the same time def understand that if they weren't forced to pallete swap they would have made the designs more original...

However, for better or worse human form has become iconic and part of what some people love and identify with for the character. Imo they should have no issues with creating a unique version of human Rep.

I just came back to tell everyone that his name is Reptile not reptilian-man.
There's an strong emphasis in the word reptile.
If anything he is too human-like, he should look more like a reptile.
the scales of his chest are so fucking manly., I can't get over it.

@Shark Tank: Actually I think it does since tym is arguably as big as any other mk site, mko probably has more members than any mk site but also the oldest but even that site had similar poll with ermac also ahead of reptile....

i'm a bit relieved to see these last few reveals: Kitana, Kung Lao, Reptile. the game is actually feeling like Mortal Kombat now and not Injustice with blood. This design for Reptile is nice but I still prefer all the Ninjas in their classic Mk1-mk3 garb. Hopefully they give us alt costumes as those.

Not only that, but hes voice or well, he didn't actually talk but you know the sounds he made and pain sounds were way better than this IMO!

I wouldn't solely use TYM to gauge. The best source I can think of would be MK9 leaderboards using most popular character across all modes(biggest sample size by far) but it's down, but reptile being more popular is a premise I'm necessarily skeptic on because from the sources I've seen(eventhubs has him 4th, srk had him leading in a poll they did) it doesn't completely follow. Whatevs though, the world will never know #characterwars

The post earlier when I said "I have hope Ermac will get in if Reptile got in, no way he's more popular than Ermac"

You said "not really" then @brizzle posted those polls which have Ermac winning over Reptile in demand.

But anyway, all the ninjas are cool right? No? What is your favorite coolwhip? I like the one in the can ;)
