Also, I believe they're trying to get pad support on the arcade machines for people in the West, so there's hope for that. How you gonna count out the man who got 2nd at EVO & 3rd at Strong Style despite being on semi retired status Bronson :p

Plus a good amount of the top level Tekken players are already trying find ways to maximize travelling to Japan to practice.

Step 1 - Start saving now, Especially for evo if that's your goal. Every paycheck put a small portion either in cash in a safe or under your mattress, or into a savings account with interest accumulating (lol at most saving account Interest rates barely 1-2% Compared to other methods).

Step 2 - book Early, if you're trying to fly out anywhere the earlier the better, prices get higher the closer they are to the dates.

Step 3 - Get to know people on this site better. if i hadn't met @7L i wouldn't have gone to Final round or TFC, or stayed with my boi starwolf for most of the EC events. Splitting a room or travel with awesome TYM's is a good way to save on travel cost to these events. also being homies with @AVN PTH jonnitti means you get all the hook ups, he's the hotdog man everyone loves him!

I have actually saved money so I could go a trip that fell through. So money doesnt seem to be an issue(at least for one event). Thank you for the input though.

it was literally the last weekend i had to work, when i first started i had to literally sign a contract saying i couldn't request PTO during open enrollment period which lasted from oct 15 thru Dec 7th if NEC was the weekend after that i would have made it. sucks to because i only really work Mon Thru Fri but always the first saturday of the month, literally the worst timing for me.
