"MORTAL KOMBAT X Comic #1 is SOLD OUT, so the book is headed for a second printing", says Kittelsen

To know surprise but awesome to hear nonetheless, the author of the Mortal Kombat X comics, Shawn Kittelsen tweeted earlier today that the first Mortal Kombat X comic has SOLD OUT! Meaning that at this point there are no more physical copies of the first Mortal Kombat X comic book. Don't panic though, if you wanted one for yourself as Shawn has stated the book is headed back to pressing for a second run!

In addition to this great news, the second run of the first comic is set to arrive for retailers on February 18th w/ a "Mature Readers" label. Check out Shawn's tweets below!

I bought both the scorpion and subzero copies.

Lol I went to my comic shop in downtown and they had one copy left of the issue, and I copped that shit my nigga.

I'm REALLY not interested in the physical copies...but I might make an exception.

I got the sub, scorp, and black with dragon plus 2, 3, and 4 are coming. I love this comic! Haven't said that in a LONG time.

This comic isn't good.

Yeah me too! I go to my shop weekly, and yesterday since wed is the new comic book day, two guys were shocked it sold out lol. One guy who's a big Marvel fan there doesn't like DC or MK that much he was surprised, he had to eat crow haha.

Nice, I ordered one of the black cover variants online the other they held for me. That's cool that you said you have every other MK comic too? That's neat, I have the MK 4(man that comic is hard to find) and Deception one, getting the MK 1 and MK 2 tie in game ones then I'll go for the non canon malibu ones. You should totally do a comic book MK Kollection video some time!
