Breakthrough - Goro UK Gamers Mortal Kombat X Goro edition only available at Game

Saw this while browsing for MKX pre-order Goro again. Says "Goro Edition - Only at game". It's also £5 more expensive than the normal edition, so doesn't seem like you're saving anything at all, making it pointless. May as well just order it from wherever is cheapest/wait until other shops get exclusive deals like they did with MK9

All things considered, that's not too bad a price for what it is.

If it turns out that being packaged with a DLC code for Goro is literally the only difference then, ehhhhhh......

I'm pretty sure it is. If you scroll down on the page where it says special features, it just says "pre-order now to fight as Goro".
Unless Goro costs more that £5 (unlikely), I don't see any reason to purchase this option.

Like Strykie said, if he will eventually be DLC, not to bothered about getting him out the box.

Have a feeling he is going to be terrible though...

the nearest GAME to me is in northern ireland, bollox :/

wish NRS would just let people know how you get goro if you dont/cant pre-order,
can he be bought day 1 or will people have to wait?

If they're as serious about making this a tournament game as I think they are then I think he'll be released day 1 as DLC so everyone can play as him. He has to be.

The Mortal Kombat site links to different retailers. So it could be that more stores offer the bonus.
Not a single Belgian shop listed on the MK site shows any form of pre-order bonus. My guess is that most of the stores aren't informed yet.

What? No it just means you can preorder the game from there lol. Clearly it's only Game that has Goro as a preorder bonus :p well, at least in the UK. If you want to know about Belgium I don't know what to tell you :/

With the release of MK9, they only showed stores that offered any pre-order bonus.

Well they've said it's only one outlet in the UK that's giving Goro as a pre-order bonus, the other European countries might be different.

I'm going to go check my local Game and see if they're doing it for 360 too. Don't see why Goro preorder bonuses would be limited to next-gen.

Duh, I meant NRS. WB cared more about releasing DLC for Arkham Origins than releasing a patch for all the bugs it had, the number of which exceeded the number of variation matchups there'll be in MKX.

Oh my god no, why... why game. FFS oh well, seems like I'll have to order from them one more time. This better not turn out like last time, where I pre ordered a game which never ever arrived.

If I had to guess, I'd put money on the fact that a lot of these moves/decisions are coming from WB, not NetherRealm. It's probably out of their hands.
