Strategy How To Deal With Opponents Who Cross Up

Jade's d3?I still eat crossover punches sometimes doing so.But I still think it's her best option. It mainly happens against kung lao and scorpian.I always wondered why they are connecting cross over punches when she's at eye-level with ants.I know that sounds impossible but I still get crossed over punched whenever I do a d3 to avoid it sometimes.maybe I time it wrong.I think it'd be too risky to ex-glow.well at least for me because I would input it in the wrong direction due to my opponent switching sides from crossing over.If not that I'd probably do regular glow from putting it in so fast.lol.And i didn't know that d1 would work well so I'd have to give it a try.

What's a Smarrgasm?
just saying that rising karma would be more fitting if he were to dash, from what ive seen i remember him just reverse inputting specials instead of actually dashing out
I agree it is definitely more optimal. I know for sure against lao that he uses reverse rising karma on teles when he is simply walking to make them whiff. Its crazy insane.

For Cage uppercut is a solid choice for straight up consistency. You can dash out every time which is better but the upperut is also def a viable option.

You can also list uppercut for Quan Chi I think.... seems to work for HGTV DrFlash44. Just a random thought haha. Also one way that is not character specific is your spacing on the map. If you are getting blown up by cross ups don't push into midscreen, keep yourself with the corner at your back. While this gives up other things you want, your opponent is not going to jump over you into the corner. If that is worth it is for the player to decide.

my anti cross up tech:
cage- dash f, f3(hit confirm): if opponent stay get hit and eat combo or at least blockstring, if they cross up they get hit by b3 then full combo.
sonya- same as cage but i buffer d-f3block if they cross up they eat ex cartwheel.
