I really hope this is in the 3rd strike storyline. I also want to see old man Ryu one day.Comparison of Chun Li's crouch in IV and V.
For veterans, you may recognize that as her 3rd Strike crouch in the SFV shot.

I heard somewhere that it takes place between SF4 and SF3. I would like it as an alt costume kind of thing, not sure about an entirely new character.I really hope this is in the 3rd strike storyline. I also want to see old man Ryu one day.
Well, to be fair, a lot of things showsnin the trailer were of 3S stuff.Comparison of Chun Li's crouch in IV and V.

It's not even just recovery. Fireballs noticeably started up slower. Like, you can't be serious about that...There's no other way they could've made this accessible to new players. I'm really not happy with what I see either. It's like the first time I played sf3 new generation and got all my attacks parried. It felt like they took something away instead of adding--in order to make people not have to work through fireballs.
It feels like they want recovery time to be slow so new players and people with slower reactions can see what's happening
And react accordingly. It feels like less skill and more gimmick setups will rule. The days of John choi beating ass with only fundamentals are over. This is the most different looking sf I've ever seen. I know it's too early but I'm shocked.
