NetherRealm also working on 'Free-to-Play' WWE game called 'Immortals'

Nope, this isn't an April's fools joke. Today, although the details are very slim, NetherRealm Studios is also working on a 'free-to-play' World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) game. The game will be coming out next year along with the highly-anticipated Mortal Kombat X. And no, normally we would not cover a news story pertaining to a wrestling game, but considering it's our 'Mother-ship' development team, we're making an exception.

The game, 'WWE Immortals' will be coming out on iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch and Android devices. In addition to the details being slim all we know is this: "feature epic Superstar battles in a fantastically re-imagined WWE world."
