You had mentioned that you and your buddy were talking about how Goku wasn't strong enough to beat Beerus. I think that he retains some of the SSG powers from BOG when he blew up Beerus' kill ball. You see Goku turn SSG to destroy the ball and then he reverts back to base form.

For the longest time I thought Frieza was female, the look and voice, thought for sure Frieza was a female. When he transformed into the more male looking form, I was like "wtf? did she just turn into a dude or something?". My bro was like "what, Frieza is a guy...".

So yeah, I meant to do that, lmao. I was going to see if anyone noticed, even though it wasn't really subtle.

Goku tells Beerus that he's not as powerful as him when they're talking after all that happens.

Well, my buddy said he heard speculation (he wasn't able to cite a source, however) that Frieza steals Beerus' power or something, hence the strange liquid we briefly see him coming out of.

That's the ONLY thing I can think of that would put him on the same level of power as Goku or him being more powerful.

Frieza's return is quite obviously going to be coming from being wished back because there's no other way he could come back if they're making this canon as Trunks destroyed him completely.

Either way, I hope they do ONE thing that they did with Battle of Gods and that's make this movie have the same humor that Battle of Gods had. The humor made up for the lack of overall action throughout the movie, so it would be nice to see plenty of humor AND action all in one.

I just hope they don't screw this up. Outside of Cell, I feel that Frieza was one of the best villains in the Dragonball universe.

I'm a huge fan of the series (clearly) and I brought up similar concerns as Frieza was outclassed by a regular untrained Super Saiyan twice and the saiyans at least have gone far beyond that level of power/skill. That said I know most of the power level charts aren't official but heavy speculation over the years puts people like Tien for example at Frieza 2nd form strength by the end of the series at LEAST. That said I was thinking they can wish Frieza back all they want but he'd be too weak to do anything.
Also something huge people are overlooking, it has been said several times that nobody can be wished back from the dead after a full year has passed. One year, fine. One year and one day/hour/minute/second, nope. Since Trunks killed Frieza it's been at LEAST 12-13 years............
I'll still watch it and likely still enjoy it but I hope there's at least a believable explanation for his return.

Would be funny if the frog that captain ginyu changed bodies with wishes frieza lol. I doubt this would happen tho :confused:

I asked my buddy about Gohan's lack of Mystic usage and this is what he said: "Technically mystic form is just super saiyan without the transformation and stress of constant power loss of maintaining super saiyan".

So, I guess it just boils down to whether he wants to look fancy and transform or not. >_>
