I picked Treecko as well. Everyone had Torchic.

I should have went with Mudkip. I just realized I didn't/don't like any of the Hoenn water Pokemon.

I'm on my way to get the 6th badge now. Crazy how the game's Pokémon levels are designed around Exp. Share. I'm getting my mons fainted more and more often than I ever did in X/Y when I had Exp. Share on the entire time, simply because I have it off now.

Also, the fact that there's a trainer in the game named Miley, who is of the Delinquent class, is fucking genius.

I transferred all of my Pokemon from X over to OR. Legendaries and everything, but I'm not gonna use them until after I beat the game.

Good to know lol. I was going to turn it off as well but now maybe I won't. Then again, it's been a long time since pokemon games provided a real challenge for me, so maybe not.

I love how they add little things in there like that to appeal to the older fans. Like the double battle couple where the male had an Onix an the female had a Cloyster.

how early can you transfer pokemon?

I want to do my first run with my shiny eevee (Flareon).

I have always wanted to do a fresh starter run with eevee, who has perfect IV's. Please tell me it's possible :(

Immediately really. Just put the Eevee in the pokebank from XY, then put it in your ORAS game and you can take it out the second you find a PC. I did it with Klefki :D

EDIT: You might actually have to visit a PC first before you can put stuff in there but either way, you can do it very early.
