I also can't help but raise an eyebrow at Phil Lamarr apparently voicing Kotal. To my knowledge, he hasn't done any other video game work outside of MGS.

No. He should be a rushdown character with an unusable projectile and no counterzoning whatsoever. Make him feel the pain.

All it really takes is one "last time on mortal kombat" scene for them to have an excuse to include things like this.

Still he could actually make it.

Because they couldn't pose for a single photo for "troll" purposes? And it definitely was staged photo (there is no need for two people to be on the "stage" to record anything).

It seems like too much effort to just be a tweet troll. And it might not be necessary but it might be easier to record that way

Honestly, I am not worried about Kenshi being OP or any other character for that matter. I'm pretty sure that with three variations each character is bound to have a few useful tools for each match up. Putting a lot of faith in the balance of this game.

That's kinda the point, it takes less time to shoot the photo (provided they use camera for something else there) than to post it on twitter afterwards, which isn't exactly much.

That said, Kenshi does look like a possibility regardless.

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this yet, but just because he's in the game, it doesn't mean he'll be playable. He might just appear in a story cutscene or some shit. Odds are he'll probably be in the game when it's all said and done, but something to keep in mind.
