Im really getting depressed by this game. I didnt buy this game to play halo 2/3

I finally got a h1 game and other team quits after 10-0 sigh

The thing is, even when Matchmaking works, it's nearly unplayable due to lag. And if you go in with a team, more often than not, you'll be separated for some reason.

I'm honestly probably not going to play until they fix this garbage. Unless someone wants to play some customs.

I wish I had gotten into this at the correct time cos I was sucked into COD at a young age and it has not spat out out since, I have nothing against Halo I just never had the time to sit & grind it out.

Its never too late man. Just get halo mcc, start playing and soon you willl trade in CoD.
Besides it was ages ago that everyone played h2 or h1 so most of halo players are rusty

Where do I go to learn competitive Halo?

I've been watching streams and tourney footage but can't find anywhere where people talk strategy and map callouts and stuff.

I took a week holiday to play this game and it looks like matchmaking is still not fixed and next patch is for next week. Back to destiny untill this disaster is fixed

No good map sharing system in for Halo 2 anniversary- which is a dying shame.

It's weird they'd make so many improvements to Forge, but not provide a way to publicly upload/download/rate other maps. Hopefully they'll add this in later- but it is a very curious omission.

And now the patch even got delayed... damn it. I wanna play this so bad but the way this is working (or not working) right now makes it impossible to actually have balanced, fair matches. Come on 343!

Yeah, every match I'm able to get into after a long time ends up being 3v1 or 4v2 because people get disconnected and then everyone else gets frustrated with the odds and quits on me.

It's a shame the patch has been delayed, though what they are doing server side is somewhat noticeable and there are improvements. I can get into matches more frequently now- I just still have the problem of them being half-full and almost never balanced.
